Greetings to everyone in the Visual Shots community! Today I'm joining today to share with you a new photographic compilation. Back to photography after some time without doing something new, I headed with my partner to Alta Vista, the busiest shopping area and where there is usually a lot of material to take some good pictures. Being January one of the dates with better weather, it is much more pleasant to walk around those parts and stop calmly to take pictures. With clear skies and a good sun.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Visual Shots! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva recopilación fotográfica. Devuelta a la fotografía luego de algún tiempo sin hacer algo nuevo, me encamine junto a mi pareja rumbo a Alta Vista, la zona comercial más concurrida y dónde suele haber mucho material para sacar algunas buenas imágenes. Siendo Enero una de las fechas con mejor clima, es mucho más agradable caminar por esos lados y detenerse con calma a sacar fotografías. Con cielo despejado y un buen sol.
The pictures are more or less located around Alta Vista Shopping Center and Plaza Monumental. Being a weekend many people also go out to walk and enjoy the day. I am not the only one taking advantage of the good weather. I like those moments where people are doing their homework and you can spontaneously capture that moment. You wonder if those people will follow the same path, if you will see them again, if they are aware of the moment they share and if they will know you have an image of them. Consent is important to me, but in street photography I think that could be a bit problematic because of the limiting factor of spontaneity and so on. In any case, one has to learn to read the context and know how far to go.
Las fotografías están más o menos ubicadas por el C.C. Alta Vista y la Plaza Monumental. A ser fin de semana muchas personas también salen a pasear y disfrutar del día. No seré la única que aprovecha del buen clima. Me gustan esos momentos dónde la gente está en sus deberes y de forma espontánea uno puede capturar ese momento. Uno se pone a pensar si esas personas seguirán luego el mismo camino, si uno las volverá a ver, si son conscientes de ese momento que comparten y si sabrán que uno tiene una imagen de ellos. El consentimiento es importante para mí, pero en la fotografía de calle creo que eso podría ser un poco problemático pensando en el factor que limita lo espontáneo y demás. En todo caso, uno tiene que aprender a leer el contexto y saber hasta donde llegar.
On the other hand, plants and gardens do not ask for consent to be photographed, so I can take as many pictures as I can and want. This is what I enjoy the most because even if you can't see it, they also have a lot to say, a face that expresses realities. As a friend of mine who teaches biology would say, "animals and plants are indicators of whether an ecosystem is healthy". In this case, I mean that Ciudad Guayana is more like a city inside a jungle, so wherever we look we are surrounded by nature. Por otro lado, las plantas y los jardines no piden consentimiento para que se le tomen fotografías, así que puedo hacer tantas fotografías como pueda y quiera. Es lo que más disfruto porque aunque no se note, ellos también tienen mucho que decir, un rostro que expresa realidades. Cómo diría un amigo mío que es Docente en Biología, "los animales y las plantas son indicadores de si un ecosistema se encuentra sano". En este caso, me refiero a que Ciudad Guayana es más una ciudad dentro de una selva, por lo que dónde sea que veamos estamos rodeados de naturaleza. Lo que podría decir que a pesar de que es una ciudad industrial y demás, parece ser que estamos llenos de vida. Esa teoría me hace feliz. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
