Progressively, my photos are becoming more and more satisfactory to me. I wouldn't know how to evaluate the pace of my learning, but I know that I have been very constant. I have become very fond of photography and it has opened the doors to a new way of seeing the world that I am grateful to be able to experience.
I have made it clear that my intention is to dedicate myself long-term to street photography. In this category I feel like I have something to find. Something special that I must achieve as an artist. Throughout this process I have had to fail many times. But fortunately,I have had good influences that made me know and accept that that would be the outcome constantly.
The magic of this way of taking photographs is that among the countless failures there will be certain photos that will make it all worth it. Needing to also explore the business side of photography, I began taking well-prepared photos without the same level of satisfaction.
Determined to do things differently, I realized that there is a good possibility of bringing the experience of street photography to event photography. And that's what I've been doing.
I shared one of the first approaches to this style recently. A special moment that I wanted to narrate in images in a creative way. With that in mind, I've been creating my style and doing some experiments, and that led me to this gallery.
In this process, new messages appear through new ways of communicating. Faced with a couple of pieces of cake to share with friends, it occurred to me to play with that anonymity that is usually so present in street photography.
On the table was a Red Velvet cake and one based on Oreos. Red and blue, like the brand colors of the place. I knew what I was looking for in white balance. This generated a very saturated and dreamlike edition with an extremely cold tone.
Like all my photos, these shots were taken with my Google Pixel 6. I did the editing in Lightroom using the same device. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy sharing
