Greetings friends! I share with you some pictures I took with my phone a few days ago when I visited the city cemetery with my friend @ismaelgranados. I hadn't been to this cemetery since 2007, even though my whole family is buried there.
We toured several of the crypts of wealthy families that are made of marble, with huge vases and tombstones, they even have railings and according to rumors in the main crypt there is a subway chapel. We took some pictures as we walked around. There were some tombstones that were blurry and others that were in perfect condition.
Many of the monuments in cemeteries are sad, but one specific one made me feel the loneliness of this place because of a marble sculpture of an angel leaning against a cross. That was very sad.
As if my internal GPS had been activated, I arrived at my family's crypt. It was all abandoned, there were no flowers and the tombstones were covered with a black, brownish mold. This broke my heart.
I remarked to my friend that it is difficult to bind our relatives to visit a place like the cemetery and that it would be good to end up with our remains in ashes that would go to feed a plant or end up in the sea. We reflected a bit on this.
No one knows what there is after death, but what I can say for sure is that the saddest and most desolate place to end earthly life is a cemetery.

¡Saludos amigos! Les comparto unas fotografías que hice con mi teléfono hace unos días que visité el cementerio de la ciudad con mi amigo @ismaelgranados. Desde el año 2007 no entraba a este campo santo, a pesar de que toda mi familia está sepultada en este lugar.
Recorrimos varias de las criptas de familias adineradas que son de mármol, con jarrones y lápidas enormes, incluso tienen rejas y según los rumores en la cripta principal se encuentra una capilla subterránea. Tomamos algunas fotografías mientras recorrimos en lugar. Había algunas lápidas borrosas y otras que estaban en perfecto estado.
Muchos de los monumentos de los cementerios son tristes, pero uno específico me hizo sentir la soledad de este lugar por una escultura en mármol de un ángel recostado a una cruz. Eso fue muy triste.
Como si mi GPS interno se hubiese activado, llegué hasta la cripta de mi familia. Estaba toda abandonada, no había flores y las lápidas estaban tapadas por un moho negro y tostado. Esto me rompió el corazón.
Le comenté a mi amigo que es difícil atar a nuestros familiares a visitar un lugar como el cementerio y que sería bueno mejor terminar con nuestros restos en cenizas que fueran a alimentar una planta o a parar al mar. Reflexionamos un poco sobre esto.
Nadie sabe lo que hay después de la muerte, pero lo que si puedo asegurar es que el lugar más triste y desolado para terminar en la vida terrenal es un cementerio.

Hola nena, no me gustan los cementerios (bueno creo que a muchas personas tampoco) ver las fotos así en blanco y negro me da la impresión de soledad y tristeza. La imagen final del Angel muy conmovedora.

Es lo que digo, me da ese sentimiento también y ver algunas tumbas abandonadas (incluso la de mi familia) me recuerda que no me gustan los cementerios.
