Encerrarse en un pequeño pueblo tercermundista, complejo y cuya principal característica psicológica-social es un marcado contraste entres sus habitantes, sus memorias y su manera de ver las cosas, tiene sus ventajas... ¿Cuales ventajas?... ¡Pues nunca se te acaban las fotos ni los cuentos para contar!... ¡Además es casi imposible aburrirse cuando se adopta por terapia hace este tipo de cosas!...

I never studied photography, much less grammar, philosophy, literature or anything humanistic that could have contributed to my current activities. I'm in fact a retired systems engineer and it's still not clear to me how I managed to get my degree and subsequent certifications. But what is clear to me is that I always had a touch of ill-concealed creative bohemianism tied to my character and behaviour... And to think that I got to give technical lectures in front of hundreds of people in auditoriums!... I must have been crazy!... Now, in retrospect, it seems to me that I was very good at pretending to really like everything I did.... I even thought so myself!...
Nunca estudié fotografía y mucho menos gramática, filosofía, letras o cualquier otra cosa humanística que hubiese podido contribuir a mis actividades actuales. En realidad soy un ingeniero en sistemas retirado y aún no tengo claro como fue que logre obtener mi titularidad y mis diplomas posteriores. Pero lo que sí tengo claro es que siempre tuve un toque de bohemia creativa mal disimulada atada a mi carácter y comportamiento... ¡Y pensar que llegué a dar conferencias técnicas ante cientos de personas en auditorios!... ¡Debo de haber estado loco!... Ahora, en retrospectiva, me parece que era muy bueno en eso de fingir que me gustaba mucho todo aquello que hacía... ¡Incluso yo mismo lo creí así!...

How I ended up in the streets that I walked as a child and saw me grow up, taking photographs and talking to dogs, cats and imaginary friends (when not with myself), is a long story between fiction and reality which are mixed in my memories without me knowing very well which one is which... But it is worth saying that it all began on the couch of the work psychologist assigned by the company where I worked for more than two decades... Some of my former colleagues now live abroad, others are still with the same company, and still others have gone on to work for other corporations. But so far, it seems to me that none of them have decided (as I did one day several years ago) to throw it all away and suddenly turn my life around, just to be able to say "I'll do what I want to do"... In fact, some of my former colleagues keep betting that I'll end up as an orate dressed in rags writing with chalks on the streets the weird ideas that come to my mind (very creative my friends, as you can see)... :))
De como terminé en las calles que recorría de niño y me vieron crecer, haciendo fotografías y hablando con perros, gatos y amigos imaginarios (cuando no conmigo mismo), es una historia larga entre ficción y realidades las cuales se mezclan en mis memorias sin que sepa muy bien cual es cual... Pero bien vale decir que todo comenzó en el diván del psicólogo laboral asignado por la empresa en donde trabajé por más de dos décadas... Algunos de mis ex-compañeros de trabajo viven ahora en el extranjero, otros continúan en la misma empresa y otros tantos han trabajan en otras corporaciones. Pero hasta ahora, me parece que ninguno de ellos ha decidido (como hice yo un día hace ya barios años atrás) tirar todo por la borda y dar un giro repentino a mi vida, tan solo para poder decir "haré lo que quiero hacer"... De hecho, algunos mis antiguos colegas continúan apostando a que terminaré cual orate vestido en harapos escribiendo con tizas en las calles las ideas raras que se vienen a mi mente (muy creativos mis amigos, como pueden ver)... :))

As you can see, these photos go hand in hand with today's text (which is not always the case with my articles), as they are photos of uncertain concept, which can be interpreted in different ways, and which require a necessary sharpness and reflection when looking at them and even more so when comparing them with the titles I give them and which are a kind of particular "signature" on my part... I always say: In a way: "I am in each one of these photos"... And that's how I like to do it... ;)
Como pueden observar, estas fotos van de la mano con mi texto de hoy (cosa la cual no siempre pasa con mis artículos) pues son fotos de concepto incierto, diversamente interpretable, que impulsan una necesaria agudeza y reflexión al mirarlas y más aún a cotejarlas con los títulos que les doy y que son una especie de "firma" particular de mi parte... Lo digo siempre: De alguna manera: "Yo estoy en cada una de estas fotos"... Y es así como me gusta hacer esto... ;)

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Pictures taken with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments concerning light, sharpening, contrast and depth... The turning to monochrome is done by desaturation and then adding layers of yellow attenuation (43) with saturation (10) and transparency variable according to the characteristics of the photo... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... El virado a monocromático se realiza por desaturación y posterior agregado de capas de atenuación en amarillo (43) con saturación (10) y transparencia variable según las características de la foto... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Hello friend @erikah!... Yes, these small towns are full of emotional scenes and easier to capture... Usually in urban city environments it doesn't happen like that... In our large cities there are peripheral neighborhoods where perhaps you can take similar photos, but usually these are not safe for the photographer!!! :(

Hermosas fotografías amigo y colega ya que al leerte veo que eres ingeniero en sistemas al igual que yo, y de verdad tampoco hago nada de la carrera con lo que hago ahora y tanto me gusta.

And with good reason! :))... He is a guard dog despite his well-kept and tender coat!... He takes care of the house of the owner of a car shop, he is a large dog, perhaps weighing 30 or 35 Kg...
