Based on a portrait of the young Chiara interacting with a woven wire, I created this intriguing diptych. The work invites us to explore multiple levels of interpretation, both visual and poetic, and reflects the essence of a young woman hidden behind a metal structure. The metal mesh acts not only as a physical barrier but also as a symbol laden with meaning: a metaphor for the emotional complexities and layers of protection we build to shield ourselves from the world.
A partir de un retrato de la joven Chiara interactuando con un alambre tejido, creé este díptico intrigante. La obra invita a explorar múltiples niveles de lectura, tanto visuales como poéticos, y refleja la esencia de una joven que se oculta detrás de una estructura metálica. El tejido metálico actúa no solo como una barrera física, sino también como un símbolo cargado de significado: una metáfora de las complejidades emocionales y las capas de protección que construimos para resguardarnos del mundo.
