I rarely give a titles to my images. Mostly i write descriptions, when needed. But this time the association "HOLES" just jumped to my mind. Their not "legal" bedouin village was destroyed, so the family just found another way to hide them from the "servants of the law" by building the village inside a cemetery with the hope that no one will move them from the cemetery even the settlement will be illegal. Its seems like she has gone through a long and hard life.
I added this image to the documentary series of my FAA printing gallery together with other photograph from my documentary storytelling projects ike this one below. thank you my friend.
yes impressive human history and i'm trying to look for these, it's like for emotional food for me, kinda anthropological experience, which is always messmering me.
That's a powerful shot. I'm curious, how did you find your way to this story?
i was a part of a few photographers and some guy, who knew people here and there, so he was the "guide" and brought us here.
i have a luck to find these people. especially cos i ask and interesting and talk to strangers when i walk and travel. I just have no enough time to do this on daily manner bro.
i hope that in two week i will take a part of some crazy trip here in my country, which i discovered yesterday by occasion. Its about the 07.10.24 massacre of the Nova trance party, the point from where the last year war started.
Perfect black and white. In color and shape.👏
thank you my friend !
Greetings. Two very powerful images, especially when you know some of the context. Surely a very tough situation for them? Excelent
thank you very much
yes, they prefer the Gypsies lifestyle, and even when they got a few newly built cities, part of them rejected to move there, but choose the tents, 10 woman families, and no education for kids and teens.
I have always admired those who use photography to tell stories that may one day encourage positive change.
I've seen how you got there. It is unfortunate that these things happen... power and the ambition that segregates and isolates are scourges that it seems this humanity will never seem to be rid of.
thank you for taking a look and for the kind words
right now the entire world is on fire due to this power, ego and money reasons.
all the new, and actually many of old leaders of dominant countries are like these - power, ego and money...
😐😑
You're very welcome.
