RE: Fabian Story: Being White and Foreign [ENG-ESP]

I don't know how to begin...let me start with your writing. It's impeccable, captures the feelings of the young boy and projects the woes of society making it easy for readers to relate.

Morally, the negligence of parents regarding the feelings of their children has been overlooked several times. It's just sad that parents don't look beneath the surface because they are "busy" all the time.

Also, your story is right on point with the fact that not only certain skin colors suffer punishment for being so. If i should take this further, just like we blacks can be critized, I find that we do the same to whites and even ourselves.

I love all that your story entails. It really had me hooked.

I love your comment, because the two messages I wanted to convey have reached you in the right way.

  1. Parents are responsible for the upbringing and education of their children and children are nothing more than a reflection of their parents.

  2. We are often what we criticise so much. The racist becomes a racist by wanting to impose a right (regardless of skin colour), as does the xenophobe and every person who believes that demanding a right gives them the power to violate the rights of others.

People are not colours, nor nationalities, they are just people.

A hug 🤗

I totally understand ❤️. Message received 💕
