Como ya es costumbre en mi blog de Hive hablar de temas que hieren la fantasía de la supuesta realidad que nos hacen creer los gobiernos, hoy les traigo esta pequeña investigación de fuerte impacto. Tal vez la conozcas, quizás no. No obstante, nunca esta demás estar al tanto de esos temas que nos quitan el sueño y nos ponen a dudar de la transparencia y veracidad de los gobiernos.
Hoy nos toca hablar del poderoso Gobierno de los Estados Unidos y de cómo utilizaron su dominio para dañar las vidas de miles de personas y cambiar en totalidad el vivir de familias enteras.
En esta investigación, gracias a los traductores modernos, pude ampliar mi búsqueda de información a páginas webs oficiales que están en idioma inglés. Aunque el artículo que leerás es algo corto, espero puedas continuar con la misma a través de las fuentes que te suministraré al final.
Comenzamos:
En la década de 1940, el gobierno estadounidense, a través del Servicio de Salud Pública de los Estados Unidos, llevó a cabo una serie de experimentos médicos en Guatemala. El objetivo de estos experimentos era determinar si la penicilina podía ser utilizada como una medida preventiva contra enfermedades venéreas.
Para llevar a cabo estos experimentos, el gobierno estadounidense reclutó a prostitutas y pacientes con enfermedades venéreas, quienes fueron infectados con sífilis, gonorrea y otras enfermedades del mismo índole. Los sujetos de prueba incluyeron a prisioneros, soldados y personas discapacitadas.
La experimentación fue llevada a cabo sin el conocimiento ni el consentimiento informado de los sujetos, lo que constituyó una violación grave de los derechos humanos. Como resultado, muchas personas en Guatemala sufrieron daños físicos y emocionales irreparables.
Con semejante información, te pregunto:
¿Deberíamos creerles a los gobiernos cuando nos dicen que es por nuestro bienestar y seguridad inyectarnos o tomarnos algún medicamento que ellos propongan, sin cuestionarse absolutamente nada?
La investigación llevada a cabo en Guatemala es un ejemplo atroz de la falta de ética y responsabilidad del gobierno de los Estados Unidos. Además, plantea preguntas importantes sobre la forma en que se llevan a cabo los ensayos clínicos y la necesidad de proteger los derechos humanos y la dignidad de los pacientes en todo momento.
Después de que se descubrieran los experimentos en Guatemala en 2010, el entonces presidente de los Estados Unidos, Barack Obama, se disculpó públicamente en nombre del gobierno de los Estados Unidos. Obama describió los experimentos como:
Lo terrible de todo esto es que tuvieron que pasar más de 7 décadas, es decir: setenta años, para que esta verdad saliera a la luz.

Lo más escalofriante del asunto es cómo saber si hoy por hoy nos están utilizando de conejillos de indias, como lo hicieron en el pasado, cosa que le será desvelado a nuestra descendencia después de haber transcurrido alrededor de 100 años, donde los culpables de tales actos se encuentren muertos y no puedan pagar por los crímenes que hicieron en vida, y, mucho menos, el gobierno que entrego autorización para dichos fines. Porque al final nuestra sumisión e ignorancia les da la rienda suelta a estos lideres enfermos de poder que juegan hacer dioses, y bajo su mandato no les tiembla el pulso ni su conciencia es manchada ya que esta podrida a la hora de hacer atrocidades de esta magnitud.
Estos experimentos no fueron un incidente aislado. En 1932, el Servicio de Salud Pública de los Estados Unidos llevó a cabo un estudio similar en Tuskegee, Alabama, en el que se infectó a hombres afroamericanos con sífilis y se les negó tratamiento durante décadas. Como resultado, muchos hombres murieron y muchos otros sufrieron daños físicos y emocionales irreparables.
Estos casos han llevado a una mayor conciencia y debate sobre la ética de la investigación médica y la necesidad de proteger los derechos humanos en la investigación del uso de medicinas y enfermedades. Desde entonces, se han desarrollado estándares éticos para la investigación médica, como la Declaración de Helsinki, que establece principios éticos para la investigación médica en seres humanos. Sin embargo, los hechos no se pueden borrar. Se puede perdonar, pero jamás se debe olvidar.
Es importante recalcar que la experimentación médica sin el consentimiento informado de los pacientes es una violación grave de los derechos humanos. No seamos el ejemplo vivo de la ignorancia, de la sumisión y de la estupidez, que solo lo podrán saber nuestros hijos del futuro al decir:
¿Y por qué nuestros ancestros no se defendieron si los estaban matando silenciosamente?

Today we are going to talk about the powerful United States Government and how they used their dominance to damage the lives of thousands of people and change the lives of entire families.
In this research, thanks to modern translators, I was able to expand my search for information to official websites that are in the English language. Although the article you will read is somewhat short, I hope you can continue with it through the sources I will provide at the end.
