"You cannot do that. You'll eventually give up. That's too much for you."
That's what I heard when I told my friend about how I juggle my time being an employee and a side hustler at the same time. Those words made me think about the people in here who are doing the same thing as me, or even more complicated than I do like ate @jane1289 and @imanagrcltrst. They are both great and dedicated to doing everything they can just to earn something for their family or reach their dreams. They would jump into every open opportunity without even having second thoughts and I am like that too.
After a long period of time contemplating these certain people, I confidently plastered a bright smile on my face and gave my friend an assuring look while uttering the words,
"I can. I will. Watch me break that wall."
I do not intend to be arrogant by saying those things to her, I just want her to know that nothing is impossible to someone who believes in herself.
I went to my family and told them about my plans for them in the future. With a heart full of hope and a mind full of ideas and steps in order to obtain and smash those dreams, I waited for their positive and encouraging response but ends up being broken by the words they have thrown at me.
"Very ambitious kid, your dreams wouldn't be enough. If you really want to be rich, marry a rich person."
I felt my tears escaping from my eyes and I ran away. I ran away trying to escape the pain that my family have caused me. I shouldn't have told them in the first, or better if I shouldn't have waited for their response and comments. Sometimes, we make the wrong choice by telling people our plans and the worst is waiting for their approval about it. People will always have something to say against anything we do. And so, whether they agree with your plans or not, chase your dreams anyways.
I found the love of my life in the middle of the dessert. Standing and staring back at me. I felt a bit alive and seems like my heart is racing so fast. I was thankful for his presence. I was about to reach out to him when I saw a lady appear beside him. She hold his hands and together, they left me there. Without saying any words. I couldn't believe my eyes, he cheated on me in front of me. Just great. He exchanged the 4 years for 4 weeks.
Maybe, time won't really matter, people will really leave you for someone else when they're not happy with you anymore. I mean, I expected this one already but didn't know that it will hurt this bad.
I saw my cat waiting for me inside my room. After a very long and exhausting day of brokenness and unexpected turn of events, at least I know that there is still someone waiting for me to come home safely. She snuggles into my chest and kissed me.
"At least I have you."
They say that life is unfair, but I beg to disagree. However, life is full of surprises. You will eventually know who's real from not. Along the way, as you chase and aim for your dreams, you will know the people who really believe in your ability. You will see the people who truly love you.
It's just so saddening to know that sometimes, the people who mostly doubt you are the people you care about and value the most.
Regardless of what they do, keep going. Work in silence and let your success make the noise for you. Never plant hate for the people who abandoned you, instead, remember those people who believe in you and focus on them.
You got this. Whatever you are going through right now. I know that you got this. I believe in you. Keep going lil warrior.

what other people think and say really doesn't matter and you should start minding your time and energy with the right people even if it makes you to detach a bit from your family. It's worth it for your own mental sanity and peace!
