In the kingdom of Selem, which was the furthest to the capital North special were blessed with loads of natural resources, food, minerals but most importantly every citizen of the town was birthed with special powers and abilities basically from magic. All her neighboring cities and towns never rose to fight against it. The town was known for its hospitality and peaceful co-existence. My family were the king makers and supreme forces of protection of the town.
En el reino de Selem, que era el más alejado de la capital del Norte especial fueron bendecidos con un montón de recursos naturales, alimentos, minerales, pero lo más importante cada ciudadano de la ciudad nació con poderes especiales y habilidades básicamente de la magia. Todas sus ciudades y pueblos vecinos nunca se levantaron para luchar contra ella. La ciudad era conocida por su hospitalidad y su coexistencia pacífica. Mi familia era los reyes y las fuerzas supremas de protección de la ciudad.
It was my 16th birthday, and my mom gifted me something really special which her mom had given to her. -A Magic Cloak. It had been in the family but was kept as a secret by the one possessing it. There was only one of it in the entire town. According to her, on of our fore-mothers had completed a great task in the spirit kingdom and was gifted this cloak which had been passed down for centuries. It still looked as good as new and was quite unbelievable that centuries had worn this. Well, it was my gift and now I had a duty to keep it safely. I got other special gifts from friends and family as well as a grand birthday party. It was no ordinary celebration but an initiation to become active in the line of duties of my family. I was excited and prepared. I had looked forward to this day since I was 4.
Era mi 16º cumpleaños y mi madre me regaló algo muy especial que le había regalado su madre. -Una capa mágica. Había pertenecido a la familia, pero la poseedora la mantenía en secreto. Sólo había una en todo el pueblo. Según ella, una de nuestras madres anteriores había completado una gran tarea en el reino de los espíritus y se le regaló esta capa que había sido transmitida durante siglos. Seguía estando como nueva y era increíble que llevara siglos. Era mi regalo y ahora tenía el deber de guardarla a salvo. Recibí otros regalos especiales de amigos y familiares, así como una gran fiesta de cumpleaños. No era una celebración ordinaria, sino una iniciación para entrar en la línea de deberes de mi familia. Estaba emocionada y preparada. Había esperado este día desde que tenía 4 años.

The new king, King Liza de V had just taken over leadership of the kingdom and as a king maker, I was opportuned to watch my father and mother carry out their duties in the royal chambers. But something strange happened, just after being crowned and sanctified with magic, the new king made a decree to be effected immediately during his acceptance speech that anyone caught using or practicing magic will be captured and dealt with.
"Hence forth from this day shall no man use or indulge in any form of practice of magic, only I as the king shall give permission if otherwise necessary and only I have the authority to exercise my magic, cease them" he said, pointing at my both parents. My parents and some other elders were captured while I snuck out stealthily to avoid being seen or captured.
That night, I was restless, I couldn't sleep. I needed to see my mother so I got hold of my invisible cloak. On putting it on, I became invisible. I immediately headed to the prison and waited for the guards to open the gates so I could go through.
I was able to locate my mum's cell, "Mum, I whispered"
She turned, "Sarah is that you?"
"Yes mum", I replied
"It is a beautiful thing that you came, she said.....the cloak you use can do several things, you can pass through doors and walls, you can telecommunicate who ever your mind needs to send a message to. Now you have to spy on the new king he really is upto something and you must find out as a protector. This is your first task. Save your people, now go," she added.
El nuevo rey, el rey Liza de V, acababa de asumir el liderazgo del reino y, como hacedor de reyes, tuve la oportunidad de ver a mi padre y a mi madre desempeñar sus funciones en las cámaras reales. Pero algo extraño sucedió, justo después de ser coronado y santificado con la magia, el nuevo rey hizo un decreto que se efectuó inmediatamente durante su discurso de aceptación que cualquiera que sea sorprendido usando o practicando la magia será capturado y tratado.
"A partir de este día ningún hombre usará o se entregará a ninguna forma de práctica de la magia, sólo yo como rey daré el permiso si es necesario y sólo yo tengo la autoridad para ejercer mi magia, que cesen" dijo, señalando a mis dos padres. Mis padres y otros ancianos fueron capturados mientras yo me escabullía sigilosamente para evitar ser visto o capturado.
Esa noche, estaba inquieto, no podía dormir. Necesitaba ver a mi madre, así que eché mano de mi capa invisible. Al ponérmela, me volví invisible. Me dirigí inmediatamente a la prisión y esperé a que los guardias abrieran las puertas para poder pasar.
Pude localizar la celda de mi madre, "Mamá, susurré"
Ella se giró, "¿Sarah eres tú?"
"Sí, mamá", respondí.
"Es una cosa hermosa que hayas venido, dijo ella..... la capa que usas puede hacer varias cosas, puedes pasar a través de puertas y paredes, puedes telecomunicar a quien sea que tu mente necesite enviar un mensaje. Ahora tienes que espiar al nuevo rey que realmente está tramando algo y debes descubrirlo como protector. Esta es tu primera tarea. Salva a tu gente, ahora vete", añadió.
I was so scared and confused and didn'to know what to do but her words, "save your people kept ringing in me. I immediately headed to the palace and true to her words I could pass through the doors. I immediately headed to the king's inner chambers, he was still awake and talking to dark space which took no particular form but it was obvious that there was something in there. He was practicing dark magic which was forbidden in the town because of the repacaution it had. I immediately telecommunicated my mum so she could see what I was seeing.
"Who's there, he roared
He had felt an external presence and immediately ran to hide
"Sarah, Sarah"
Mum called
If you can hear me, leave that room immediately, whatever he is doing is capable of draining you. Find your strength and leave"
Estaba muy asustada y confundida y no sabía qué hacer, pero sus palabras "salva a tu gente" seguían resonando en mí. Me dirigí inmediatamente al palacio y fiel a sus palabras pude atravesar las puertas. Inmediatamente me dirigí a los aposentos del rey, él seguía despierto y hablando con el espacio oscuro que no tomaba ninguna forma en particular pero era obvio que había algo allí. Estaba practicando magia oscura que estaba prohibida en la ciudad por la repacaución que tenía. Inmediatamente telecomuniqué a mi madre para que viera lo que yo estaba viendo.
"¿Quién está ahí?", rugió.
Había sentido una presencia externa e inmediatamente corrió a esconderse

Only then did I realize I couldn't move. I had to crawl out of the chambers and out of the castle. I struggled to get home where I suddenly became very sick.
I stayed in bed throughout that day and was too weak to visit my mom so I connected to her mind and she asked me to connect to my dad too which I did. I explained all I saw at the palace to dad.
" Every magic has a talisman, he said. What you saw could likely be Zuma and it's talisman are black feathers. If you find that you can expose the king. Find your uncle Hilga, he will help you but first you must recover, Zuma is too powerful. In my closest is a pot, take a zip of it and you will be relieved, dad said as I listened attentively.
Sólo entonces me di cuenta de que no podía moverme. Tuve que arrastrarme para salir de las cámaras y del castillo. Luché por llegar a casa, donde de repente me puse muy enferma.
Me quedé en la cama durante todo ese día y estaba demasiado débil para visitar a mi madre, así que me conecté a su mente y ella me pidió que me conectara también con mi padre, cosa que hice. Le expliqué a papá todo lo que vi en el palacio.
" Toda magia tiene un talismán, dijo. Lo que viste podría ser Zuma y su talismán son plumas negras. Si lo encuentras puedes desenmascarar al rey. Busca a tu tío Hilga, él te ayudará pero primero debes recuperarte, Zuma es demasiado poderoso. En mi más cercano hay una olla, toma una cremallera de ella y te aliviarás, dijo papá mientras escuchaba atentamente.
I did as dad instructed and set out to find Uncle Hilga. I told him everything and he assigned that I returned back to the palace on the big market and find the talisman as the king would be addressing the people on that day. Fortunately I found it beneath the king's sleeping space, I took the box and returned to Uncle Hilga. All protectors were immediately signalled and assigned to different locations at the venue. While the king was speaking, Uncle Hilga interrupted with our entourage. "People of Selem, I greet you, he said. As protectors of this town, we have sworn to carry out our duties and today we protect and rid our land of dark magic, which your king is in possession of,". The whole town murmured.
As the King stretched out to get his magic wave, he was immediately seized by other protectors as Uncle Hilga open the box, revealing the feathers of Zuma. The king was immediately cast into prison and bounded by a spell from the protector's circle. My parents were released and I was celebrated by the whole town. This was a greater birthday gift - Completing my first task as a protector.
Hice lo que me indicó papá y me puse a buscar al tío Hilga. Le conté todo y me asignó que volviera al palacio en el gran mercado y encontrara el talismán ya que el rey se dirigiría al pueblo ese día. Afortunadamente lo encontré debajo del espacio para dormir del rey, cogí la caja y volví con el tío Hilga. Todos los protectores fueron inmediatamente señalados y asignados a diferentes lugares del recinto. Mientras el rey hablaba, el tío Hilga interrumpió con nuestro séquito. "Pueblo de Selem, os saludo, dijo. Como protectores de este pueblo, hemos jurado cumplir con nuestros deberes y hoy protegeremos y libraremos a nuestra tierra de la magia oscura que posee vuestro rey". Todo el pueblo murmuró.
Cuando el rey se estiró para coger su onda mágica, fue inmediatamente apresado por otros protectores mientras el tío Hilga abría la caja, revelando las plumas de Zuma. El rey fue inmediatamente encarcelado y atado por un hechizo del círculo de protectores. Mis padres fueron liberados y yo fui festejado por todo el pueblo. Este fue un regalo de cumpleaños más grande - Completamente mi primera tarea como protector.
