I do wonder what happened to Sid. Several years later I noticed he was at the front of the store but didn't go in to say hello. Years went by, the store located to a different part of town and I was long done with it.
No chance of contacting him now. The Carpet biz has gone, due to Clive's death. It's over... The End!
Funny some quirky people pop into head from years ago, did not keep contact with many from back then, now most gone.... I suppose
Like closing chapters as we move on, this constant always has an end!
