Samuel is a man with a terrible case of sleepwalking. He would most times wake to find himself In a different apartment, or a different room in his home.

One night he remembered falling asleep on his couch, reminiscing on how beautiful his neighbor's wife was. And then waking up in his neighbor's bed next to his neighbor's wife, and his neighbor.

This occurrence caused his neighbor to file a restraining order against him.
Samuel had been battling with this sleeping disorder since his childhood, and now that everything seem to be getting worse he decided to visit his psychologist.

Apart from his family, the only person who knew about his disorder was his psychologist, David, who had over time become best friends with Samuel.

Samuel visited David's house a day after the incident. He knocked at the door, but the door effortlessly swung open. He stood puzzled for a moment before entering David's home.

Once inside he noticed how silent everywhere was, it seemed very similar to a graveyard. There were several chairs strewn around as if someone had just left recently, but other than that he saw no sign of life.

Samuel walked towards the back of the home until he got to a large wooden door, one that said ‘Dr. David’ in white letters.

He turned the knob, expecting the familiar smell of disinfectant, which didn't come. He opened the door slightly further, peering into what appeared to be an office, except everything looked completely out of order.

The door handle made a slight creaking sound as Samuel attempted to turn it. When he did nothing happened he pushed harder. Still nothing.
He took hold of the handle again, and it swung all the way open.

It seemed to lead him deeper into the house. Everything was dark, and Sam struggled not to bump into anything he couldn't see.
As he reached his destination his hand felt something cold, metal, and hard. And along with this sensation, he could feel some liquid substance on his hands but he couldn't tell what it was. Until he felt something that seemed very familiar. He quickly staggered backward, and awkwardly threw his hands into the darkness in search of a light switch.

When he found one, he without hesitation flipped the switch. But what he saw left his jaws hanging in the air.

There it was, the body of his beautiful neighbor laying dead on David's desk necked with a knife through her chest, and her abdomen carved open to show her innards spilled onto David's floor. She was still wearing her wedding ring, which also lay in blood on her stomach.

Samuel tried to process the sight in front of him, his mouth hung open slightly like a fish.
But as the reality slowly started settling into his head, Samuel shook his head vigorously, trying to stop the tears pooling in his eyes. His legs buckled underneath him and he dropped to his knees, gasping silently.

His eyes darted around the office once more before they came upon a piece of paper lying on a nearby table. Sam grabbed the paper with shaking fingers. And there it was boldly written in words that even a blind man could read.

One down, two to go. He froze in fear on seeing his name written underneath his dead neighbor's name. And every name before his name strikes out with a red line.

He glanced around the room once more and spotted another paper on the desk that had the same message on it. This time, a blue line was crossed out with a red marker. Another one of David's victims is dead, another one to go!

After a brief moment of contemplating what to do, he heard footsteps behind him. He swiftly turned around, staring blankly at his attacker.
David wore a white lab coat. The sleeves were rolled to his elbows, showing off both his wrists, which had multiple syringes attached to them.

He smiled a sickening smile while holding the knife he killed the victim with, in his left hand. He raised the knife to Samuel's throat. And all Samuel could do was pray that it was another nightmare.
