Death comes anytime, sometimes in a beautiful way and sometimes in a painful way. Although, it’s not new or maybe because it’s the reality; Of course no one can still accept the one of the saddest realities in life. No matter how much we hold onto life, there will always be the time to leave forever. Life is not eternal. Life withers like flowers but having the end that makes life beautiful. Even though it’s agonizing, that is Life without a doubt.
A Goodbye. No one would ever get used to that feeling. Telling someone to smile because it’s the last time of seeing each other or to see someone but in a one-sided only. No one can smile gracefully for sure even though how much is being forced. There might be a smile on the face but tears will shed it. It’s not easy to fake the emotions when death is the one being battled on to conquer.
To mourn. The dead body is not to be sent to grave immediately because a part of the family might be waiting or maybe for the last time; A couple of days are being given to the dead body where the living who are left behind can still feel the presence of that loved one who left spiritually. For others it has no meaning at all or maybe there’s no sense of prolonging the stay of an individual that has no life. Even so, the emotions must be let out because even though the reality that he/she is no longer alive; A part of us still refuses to believe.
Memories. The remaining days that the dead body is still there. That’s the time the happy memories will be the ones to hurt us badly. It keeps tormenting the thoughts of being together because reality tells us that it will not happen anymore, now that he/she left us. Of course most of them are the happy ones that make us keep holding on to that person. Sending off to someone we love is not that easy because it means it will be forever.
