Hola queridos amigos escritores, es un placer para mí compartir un relato con ustedes, dónde una princesa hace lo que está a su alcance para salvar la vida de un príncipe que está en peligro, demostrando así que las mujeres no son débiles como todos piensan. Espero que les guste.
Hello dear writer friends, it is a pleasure for me to share a story with you, where a princess does her best to save the life of a prince who is in danger, proving that women are not weak as everyone thinks. I hope you like it.
Relato / Story
En un reino lejano, estaban todas las princesas reunidas en el gran castillo, el rey las había convocado, porque ese día se elegiría a una de ellas para que se casará con el apuesto príncipe.
Todas ellas estaban esperando en el jardín y allí se encontraba muy confundida Ruby, estaba allí obligada porque ella no se quería casar y mucho menos con alguien que no conocía, pero sus padres sabían que era lo mejor para ella, iba a estar bien protegida por el príncipe.
In a distant kingdom, all the princesses were gathered in the great castle, the king had summoned them, because that day one of them would be chosen to marry the handsome prince.
All of them were waiting in the garden and there Ruby was very confused, she was there because she did not want to get married and much less with someone she did not know, but her parents knew it was the best for her, she was going to be well protected by the prince.
Esperaron durante largas horas, porque había muchas princesas interesadas en el príncipe, él tenía que conocerlas una a una, para después elegir a la más indicada. Cuando ya casi era el turno de Ruby, suenan las campanas que advierten que el castillo se encuentra en un peligro inminente, todas las princesas comienzan a correr alarmadas, Ruby se esconde en un lugar seguro.
Al parecer alguien que quiere hacer daño al rey y siente odio por el príncipe, aprovecho la enorme cantidad de personas que había en el castillo para escabullirse. Así que secuestraron al príncipe, nadie sabía a dónde se lo habían llevado.
El rey manda a todos sus hombres, sus mejores guerreros para que encuentren a su único hijo, su heredero. Todas las princesas se comienzan a ir de una en una, Ruby se queda esperando un poco más a ver si llega alguna noticia del príncipe.
They waited for long hours, because there were many princesses interested in the prince, he had to meet them one by one, and then choose the most suitable one. When it was almost Ruby's turn, the bells rang, warning that the castle was in imminent danger, all the princesses began to run in alarm, Ruby hid in a safe place.
It seems that someone who wants to harm the king and feels hatred for the prince, took advantage of the enormous amount of people in the castle to sneak away. So they kidnapped the prince, nobody knew where they had taken him.
The king sends all his men, his best warriors to find his only son, his heir. All the princesses begin to leave one by one, Ruby waits a little longer to see if any news of the prince arrives.
Pasaron las horas y entraban y salían hombres del rey, pero ninguno venía con noticias de su hijo. Ruby desde niña había soñado con ser una guerrera, escondida de sus padres ─porque no era correcto que una princesa aprendiera esas cosas, era cosa de hombres─ ella practicaba, sabía pelear y manejaba muy bien la espada. Cuando vio que la búsqueda del príncipe no estaba dando ningún resultado, decidió actuar ella y encontrar al príncipe.
Hours went by and the king's men came and went, but none of them came with news of their son. Ruby had dreamed of being a warrior since she was a child, hidden from her parents ─because it was not right for a princess to learn those things, it was a man's thing─ she practiced, she knew how to fight and she handled the sword very well. When she saw that the search for the prince was not yielding any results, she decided to act herself and find the prince.
Se colocó su armadura de caballero que tenía escondida en casa y comenzó con la búsqueda del príncipe por todos los rincones del reino. En un bosque solitario, de lejos vió que salía humo, como de una fogata y se acercó lo más que pudo, allí encontró a un grupo de hombres que tenían amarrado al príncipe contra un árbol, lo tenían secuestrado. Tenía que idear un plan porque ella se encontraba sola y eran más de 10 hombres.
Ruby espero a que se hiciera de noche, se dio cuenta que cada uno de esos hombres dormía en una tienda muy alejada de los demás, esto lo tomo como ventaja. Esa noche atrapó mientras dormían a todos los hombres, los dejó amarrados a cada uno en su tienda, rescató al príncipe y lo llevó al castillo. Se lo entrego al rey sano y salvo, además le dijo donde se encontraban las personas que lo tenían secuestrado.
El rey estaba sorprendido de que un solo hombre hubiera podido vencer a toda esa cantidad de malhechores, tanto él como el príncipe pidieron que se quitará el yelmo, para verle la cara al que lo había salvado. Ruby se lo quitó y se sorprendieron muchísimo de qué se trataba de una hermosa princesa, ¡sí! una mujer lo había salvado. Había hecho lo que ninguno de sus preparados hombres había logrado.
He put on his knight's armor that he had hidden at home and began to search for the prince in every corner of the kingdom. In a lonely forest, from afar she saw smoke coming out, as if from a campfire and she got as close as she could, there she found a group of men who had tied the prince against a tree, they had kidnapped him. She had to come up with a plan because she was alone and there were more than 10 men.
Ruby waited until nightfall and realized that each of the men slept in a tent far away from the others, which she took as an advantage. That night she caught all the men sleeping, left each one tied up in his tent, rescued the prince and took him to the castle. He gave him to the king safe and sound, and told him where the people who had kidnapped him were.
The king was surprised that one man could have defeated all those evildoers, both he and the prince asked him to take off his helmet, to see the face of the one who had saved him. Ruby took it off and they were very surprised that it was a beautiful princess, yes! a woman had saved him. She had done what none of his prepared men had ever accomplished.
Tanto el rey como el príncipe estuvieron de acuerdo en ofrecerle a Ruby cualquier cosa que le pidiera, ya que le debían la vida. Ruby pidió ser libre para elegir con quién se iba a casar, ya que quería hacerlo por amor. Ellos accedieron, era lo mínimo que podían hacer por esta princesa, le iban a estar eternamente agradecidos.
Pasaron los días y Ruby seguía yendo al castillo, ya que allí el príncipe tomaba clases de tiro al arco y de esgrima entre otras cosas y la invitó a practicar con él, ella acepto con gusto, quería estar más preparada por si tenía que salvar a alguien en otra oportunidad. Poco a poco Ruby y el príncipe se volvieron muy cercanos, hasta el punto de que el príncipe sé ganó el corazón de Ruby y se enamoraron.
Both the king and the prince agreed to offer Ruby anything she asked for, as they owed her their lives. Ruby asked to be free to choose whom she would marry, since she wanted to marry for love. They agreed, it was the least they could do for this princess, they would be eternally grateful.
The days went by and Ruby continued to go to the castle, since the prince was taking archery and fencing classes among other things and invited her to practice with him, she accepted with pleasure, she wanted to be more prepared in case she had to save someone else another time. Little by little Ruby and the prince became very close, to the point that the prince won Ruby's heart and they fell in love.
El príncipe ya no tuvo que elegir entre todo un montón de princesas para pasar el resto de su vida, porque ya había encontrado a una que había ganado su corazón y a la que le debía la vida. Los padres de Ruby estaban muy orgullosos de su hija, ella sabía protegerse sola y podía lograr todo lo que se propusiera.
The prince no longer had to choose between a whole bunch of princesses to spend the rest of his life with, because he had already found one who had won his heart and to whom he owed his life. Ruby's parents were very proud of their daughter, she knew how to protect herself and could achieve anything she set her mind to.
Ruby dejó muy claro que no todas las princesas necesitan un hermoso vestido para cumplir su propósito, a veces, necesitan una armadura para librar batallas, y la mayoría de las veces, por la valentía que demuestran salen victoriosas.
Ruby made it very clear that not all princesses need a beautiful dress to fulfill their purpose, sometimes, they need armor to fight battles, and most of the time, because of the bravery they show they are victorious.
