There was a small village nestled in the heart of a frozen tundra, where the only source of warmth came from the burning fireplaces in each home. One winter, a traveling merchant arrived in the village, selling all sorts of trinkets and baubles. Among his wares was a small icebag, made of a shimmering blue fabric and filled with a mysterious, icy substance.
The villagers were fascinated by the icebag and many of them purchased one, eager to use it to keep their drinks cold or soothe their aching muscles. But little did they know, the icebag was cursed.
As the weeks went by, strange things began to happen in the village. People who had used the icebag reported waking up with frostbite on their skin, and their drinks would freeze solid within minutes of being placed in the bag. The animals in the village also fell victim to the curse, as their fur would become coated in a layer of ice and they would become sluggish and lethargic.
The villagers knew they had to do something about the cursed icebag before it was too late. They gathered together and held a council to decide what to do.
Some suggested destroying all of the icebags, while others argued that they should try to find the source of the curse and break it. After much discussion, they decided to first try to find the stranger who sold them the icebags and ask him where he had obtained them. They hoped that by tracing the source of the icebags, they might be able to find a clue to breaking the curse.
The villagers searched the village and the surrounding area, but they could not find the merchant anywhere. They knew they would have to expand their search and set out into the icy wilderness in search of the stranger. They packed their supplies and set out on their quest, determined to find the merchant and get to the bottom of the mystery of the cursed icebag
