Yes, we can be something more, we can be something new, we can be everything, and be whoever we want to be. It is because our future is in our hands, we choose what path to go, and we decide what door to open. However, we only live once and it is sometimes the reason for misconception and confusion. We only live once but because of the discontentment that we feel, we tend oftentimes to question our existence, to question our worth, and to question ourselves if are we truly living a worthy life and are we enough.

We can be something more but it does not mean to cut ourselves (well, metaphorically) into two. Being something more does not require you to act two different personas at a time nor to have multiple roles in this lifetime. Being something more can be seen even in the simplest things of this life ordeal. To be kind is something more. To be understanding could be something more. To risk is something more. To live and to breathe is something more. We can be something more by believing in ourselves and to what we are capable of. Those are something more that can make up your life of worthy living.

We can be something new but it does not mean to find another body for ourselves to fit in. One life isn’t really a closet that we can take a peek and easily pick and choose what clothes do we want to wear. It is a thing that is permanently attached to the making of the universe. Our life is human that is bound to be weak, to falter, and break yet our life can be strong, knows how to evolve, and can change: we can be something new by these. And sometimes the best thing to do is to adapt to it and to innovate what looks we can show off to the world. Being something new sometimes requires you a change and shredding of skins. Hence we are human and can make a change, making something new can be through cutting ties with toxic relationships. Something new through deciding to work something for ourselves.

We can be everything. But being everything doesn’t mean to tire ourselves just to prove that we can excel in every field. We aren’t perfect and we should accept that. Being good at everything does not equal to it. Confusing but we can be everything by being ourselves. Because we are all things and we deeply connect to each other, being everything is by connecting the roots of our life to others, being everything even simply means to be everything what your heart desires. Be everything through kindness, be everything through love, be everything through living life without hatred. To be everything is to accept everything about you and be who you are. We do not have to do everything in order to be everything, because we are already infinite.

We can be whoever we want to be. But it doesn’t mean to multi-task profession and to get every degree in universities. Being whoever we want to be had cycled having expectations and standards that we all know are impossible to meet. We need to break the stigma. We need to fix our minds. We were only made one, and we only need to be one person at a time. We only need to feel one existence. We grew up thinking of what future will bring to us without even thinking what will we bring to the future to meet it. Sometimes regret is a cancer: regret for the failed dreams of the many possibilities we had to be whoever we want to be. And because of regrets and the stigma, we forget the true essence of becoming whoever we want. While we are alive we always contain a future multifarious possibility: being whoever we want to be does not equal to be an astronaut and be a model at the same time. Because the answer to being whoever we want to be is in our hearts and minds.

What is happening is something we have to focus on, and we, ourselves as well are happening. We need to focus on ourselves as precious as our dreams. Even sometimes, you can live your life without making those dreams come true, and still you can live your dreams to be true as your life is.

Sometimes I just worry too much about future plans and the fear of not achieving them can be overwhelming at times.
