RE: Mummy, where are you? | Story

Oh my, this is so sad 😥well written and I could feel the emotional connection with your main character. My heart breaks for this little boy. I know what it's like to lose my mom at the age of 49 so I cannot even being to imagine losing her at such a young age. Being a mom myself, it breaks me to even think of anything happening to me or my hubby that would leave our children without one of us at a young age. The fact that it is inspired by real events makes it even more impactful. Upvoted and followed.

My sister-in-law and her husband were killed in a road accident 14 years ago. They left 3 children orphaned, the two youngest were with them and when the little girl woke up in the hospital she kept asking for her mother. I think a lot about this and the lives of the children who are now adults who grew up without parents and without many answers. I think of my children as a mother just like you and my greatest wish is to never miss them.

My heart goes out to you and your family. Thank you for sharing something so personal and allowing me to connect with you. In the reverse scenario, I lost my best friend when I was about 8 years old, to a car accident, and I saw what that did to his mom and his family. Tragically, his younger brother also lost his life years later at the age of 21 in a motorcycle accident. I cannot even begin to comprehend what this feels like as a parent or how one manages to keep moving forwards after that 😢💔🙏

Very sad that. I'm sorry to hear that.
