Peter a very brave and intelligent boy lives with his step parents in a small town called Maryland, Peter goes to school a grade three kid he had no friends because of his rude and arrogant nature, all the kids gets scared of been friends with him.
One day a newcomer by name Stephanie Okoro came into the class and the teacher asked her to sit with Peter, at first he didn't like the idea but Stephanie was a charming and nice girl that never gets angry but always smiles back no matter what.
Some days passed so Peter and Stephanie started been friendly with each other. On a Saturday afternoon the two of them decided to visit a forest just behind the school, Stephanie took along with her a mini camera so as to take shot of the birds and colourful butterflies.
Peter: Stephanie have you been to this forest before?
Stephanie: No no no.
Peter: Our teacher once told us that three kids got missing some years back in this forest but I never believed her because she is always not serious.
Stephanie laughing out loud, I do not believe either so just as the two were laughing and cracking jokes they fell into a very deep pit and later woke up just to discover themselves in an unknown place, Peter out of fear attempted to run out but there was just no way.
Stephanie asked Peter how on earth did we get here, just as he was about responding they heard some footsteps like that of a lady with with heels, initially they wanted to hide but the lady shouted stop right there!!
Witch: Hey you little toads how dare you two come to my house?
Peter: We just found ourselves here while coming down the forest, please we want to go home
Witch: No kid comes here and goes back
Stephanie: Please do not kill us, we will do anything for you
Witch: How brave of you beautiful girl I will keep you two alive on one condition which is you must write and read out scary stories for me at midnights.
Peter: Scary stories?
Witch: Yes scary stories and no one dares to run away from here.
The witch asked Stephanie to be her servant, so the two kids had no any other choice than to obey. It was getting dark at night and the two were in a large apartment with Peter trying to write a scary story for their mistress while Stephanie was doing the cleaning, when it was midnight the witch appeared from a magic door.
The witch laughed hahahahahaha, this laughter came with a very thunderous and scary sound then she said "hey you toad it is time for you to read out my story". Peter was so scared and stood up shivering and stammering.
"Read out loud you fool" the witch said and Peter started narrating some minutes later, the witch out of anger shouted and used magic to raise Peter. How dare you? That story is not scary at all and Peter had to plead with her to bring him down safely so he will write a more scary one, the witch brought him down and left.
The next morning Peter and Stephanie thought of a plan to escape so Stephanie suggested that they would find out what magical powers this witch is using to lock them up here and they both agreed to figure out a way to escape, meanwhile there was a library in there where the both of them were locked so Peter decided to go through some series of books in the library and eventually came across a book that say's all about the witch.
Peter: Stephanie I found a way come, hurry up
Stephanie: Does this mean a kid has escaped this witch before?
Peter: Yes I am very sure about that
They all agreed to escape from there by midnight. At midnight the witch came in as usual and discovered the kids were not home and had gotten the spells to open the magic door so she screamed out of anger and disappeared.
Back to the forest Peter and Stephanie were somewhere deep in the heart of the forest, just as the two were running a stallion started chasing after them behold it was the witch. Peter and Stephanie in one accordance said to the witch, "leave us alone we have done more than enough for you already" but the witch cut in and said "shut up you all and return back home.
The witch used black magic to take them back to the forest, later on Peter and Stephanie recovered and found themselves tied up and they began to plead with the witch to pardon there manners and release them, they promised never to try to escape again. The witch untied them and both of them went on to carry out their activities.
As supposed, Stephanie was cooking and she mixed a sleeping portion in her dish and served the witch. She ate the food and went off, immediately Peter and Stephanie took to their heels but they got locked up in a small room and had no way out. Stephanie asked Peter and said, "so what do we do now" Peter responded "I think I know exactly what to do" to their greatest surprise the witch appeared from no where and laughed with a thundering voice and said "I will kill you both now because you have disrespected and disobeyed my orders.
Peter took a rod and hit her from behind, she fell and they locked her up in an oven and turned on the fire. Peter as brave as he was, went on to read the book that say's all about the witch so as to find a way of making the witch powerless over them so they can be able to escape from her. He later got everything he needed from the book and this was how they both escaped.
I'm glad they got away! How did she survive being in the oven???
