Pepe era un loro que tenía una vida aparentemente perfecta, desde que era niño aprendió a ser pirata y a convivir con piratas, paso toda su vida buscando tesoros y viajando, descifrando rutas y luchando con enemigo, este era un trabajo que realmente le gustaba mucho, aparte de que le generaba mucha satisfacción personal y excelentes ganancias.
Pepe was a parrot who had an apparently perfect life, since he was a child he learned to be a pirate and to live with pirates, he spent his whole life looking for treasures and travelling, deciphering routes and fighting with enemies, this was a job that he really liked a lot, apart from the fact that it generated a lot of personal satisfaction and excellent earnings.
Pepe notaba que a medida que iba pasando el tiempo la circunstancia y el mundo iban cambiando, cada vez había menos piratas, menos tesoros y tardaban mucho más tiempo en conseguirlos, así que el trabajo que había tenido durante tantos años se estaba convirtiendo en algo obsoleto para poder subsistir.
Por un momento Pepe se sintió desesperado y se aferraba a la idea de seguir siendo pirata, pensaba que todavía podía existir la posibilidad de encontrar grandes tesoros en alta mar, pero sus esperanzas eran inseguras, además los piratas de su época se estaban retirando y él sabía que no podía zarpar solo los mares, sino que necesitaba un equipo de trabajo y mucha ayuda.
Pepe noticed that as time went by, circumstances and the world were changing, there were fewer and fewer pirates, less and less treasure and it took much longer to get it, so the job he had had for so many years was becoming obsolete in order to survive.
For a moment Pepe felt desperate and clung to the idea of continuing to be a pirate, he thought there was still a chance of finding great treasures on the high seas, but his hopes were uncertain, besides the pirates of his time were retiring and he knew he could not sail the seas alone, he needed a team and a lot of help.
Lastimosamente, el trabajo de Pepe ya no tenía sentido porque ya no quedaban tesoros en la tierra, ahora la gente guardaba el dinero y él oró en el banco y en monedas digitales, también existían grandes empresas con maquinaria altamente especializada que se dedicaba a la extracción de oro y minerales y Pepe con unos simples empleados no podía hacer nada en comparación a la inmensa tecnología que manejaba el mundo, además él no tenía el dinero suficiente y nunca creyó conveniente invertir en maquinaria.
Por un momento Pepe dejo de actualizarse, de reinventarse y se fue quedando obsoleto, lo que tanto amaba dejo de funcionar y Pepe no sabía hacer más nada, por algunos años se resistió a los cambios y vivió con los últimos ahorros que le quedaban, pero ya no podía posponer más la decisión de intentar algo diferente, de reinventarse.
Pepe sentía que no era capaz de hacer ni de aprender a hacer más nada, además si pensaba en el nivel de competencia que manejaban los otros animales en cuanto a diferentes campos laborales era extraordinario comparado con el de él, todos parecían saber más que Pepe, incluso llego a sentirse inútil.
Por algunas semanas Pepe pensó en ser carpintero, albañil y mesonero, pero rápidamente se desilusionaba antes de empezar y sentía que no era capaz de hacer nada bien.
Unfortunately, Pepe's work no longer made sense because there were no treasures left in the earth, now people kept their money and he prayed in the bank and in digital currencies, there were also large companies with highly specialised machinery dedicated to the extraction of gold and minerals and Pepe with a few simple employees could not do anything compared to the immense technology that managed the world, besides he did not have enough money and he never thought it convenient to invest in machinery.
For a moment Pepe stopped updating, reinventing himself and became obsolete, what he loved so much stopped working and Pepe did not know how to do anything anymore, for some years he resisted the changes and lived with the last savings he had left, but he could no longer postpone the decision to try something different, to reinvent himself.
Pepe felt that he was not capable of doing or learning to do anything else, besides, if he thought about the level of competence that the other animals had in different fields of work, it was extraordinary compared to his, they all seemed to know more than Pepe, he even felt useless.
For a few weeks Pepe thought about becoming a carpenter, a bricklayer and a waiter, but he quickly became disillusioned before he even started and felt that he was not capable of doing anything well.
Ya en situación extrema de pobreza, Pepe pensó en morir, sería más sencillo que seguir sufriendo, pensaba constantemente, pero un día se encontró con una vieja amiga, la señora gallina, a quien también le había tocado reinventarse, para poder subsistir y atender a sus hijos. Ahora ella era una gallina costurera y además había aprendido a tejer y a bordar.
Pepe se sintió inspirado por su amiga y decidió emprender, esa semana comenzó a reinventarse, primero empezó a limpiar solares, cuidar polluelos y loros envejecidos, después aprendió la construcción y poco a poco se fue desempeñando en diferentes campos laborales.
Desde ese día Pepe trabajaba en lo que le salía, pero aún no contaba con un trabajo estable, que era lo que más añoraba y Aunque Pepe había aprendido a ser diligente, todavía le costaba confiar en sí mismo, Tuvo que trabajar mucho en su personalidad y en su yo interior, tuvo que reinventar y cambiar varias veces, también su estilo y su forma de ver la vida, solo así pudo cambiar su realidad.

Hoy en día Pepe es un loro viejo, trabaja como Músico en un restaurante de mucha categoría, él nunca pensó en ser cantante, pero en su necesidad de reinventarse probo tantas cosas que solo así logro este gran trabajo por su cuenta y que tiene que valorar.
Hoy en día para muchos puede ser difícil reinventarse, y mas cuando están acostumbrados a una realidad que manejan por años, a veces el sistema nos obliga a reinventarnos y a veces el tener que renovarnos como seres humanos nos beneficia y más al ver que las cosas cambian, nada es estático sino nuestra capacidad de cambiar y renovar.

Hola bella @tejimundo, me encanto la historia de Pepe. Creo que algunas veces somos como Pepe, cuesta trabajo asumir y aceptar que las cosas han cambiado. Salir de la zona de confort, pero igual que Pepe, se tomaran nuevos rumbos, siempre mirando hacia el norte y teniendo plena fe y esperanza de que nos espera y tendremos un futuro mejor.
Si realmente como seres humanos nos cuesta salir de esa zona de comodidad pero hay que trabajar poco a poco en ello
