Maybe @ecency and other front-ends like @leofinance could include the icon to generate interest & let people know about its existence. It's non-profit so I'm not commenting this for personal gain.
@peak.snaps has also implemented @commentrewarder and an automatic voting system to reward snaps/short form content based on interactions and other things and seems to be working well, so Threads, waves, liketu moments, could copy this method to further reward interactions!

Btw, I checked real quick, the account itself needs to also cast some non-zero rshare votes to determine which waves get the tips, else the rewards are just refunded to the account.
Maybe @asgarth can lend you a hand with how he has it set up.

You vote on the comments yes, your voting strength determines how much of the rewards they receive as tips!

Yes, I agree that all dapps should include the icon. In this sense, I think it's necessary to unify many things in Hive, which at this time don't work the same if you change your front end, which makes things more complicated many times.
