This is Santosh and I am a new joinee into hive and splinterlands and I joined splinterlands couple of days back thanks to the twitter tweet from Rob Wilberg as he offered 5 packs of Rebellion to start my journey here.
I am writing my first blog on splinterlands after playing it for 3 days and I can say I am enjoying the game and would like to explore it further.
I saw many are sharing their blogs and I visited the splinterlands account and saw about the challenges and I am writing about the challenge created by splinterlands team today about the social media challenge and I see we are suppose to write about strategy or battle or anything in general about the splinterlands and share it on social media platforms such as Reddit, Twitter, Facebook etc.
So, I thought of participating in this and writing this blog about a battle I fought today as I felt this battle is worth sharing because of the summoner being different one as I share the details below.

And the details of battle is this:
I used the water splinter as I can identify the splinters now and I still have the lower level cards as I am yet to purchase few cards and upgrade it.
The monsters as I shared in that picture above, are Diemonshark, Flying Squid, Deeplurker, Captain Fellblade, Merdaali Guardian and Xenith Archer as I could copy names from the cards and it's an interesting battle where I have been using these same cards since 2 days and I have got many wins with my limited knowledge of this game as I could watch other people's battles and how they are using the monsters and which monster is used where.
By now, I know that, monsters with that spinning disk like structure are to be used at the beginning of the battle and those with purple gum like structure(I read those as magic attack) are to be used next and then the ones with arrow on a target (read as ranged attack ones) to be used last.
As I explored on this further, the game requires One summoner which will call the monsters and there is cost for each monster as in the top left corner and the cost cannot exceed the cost mentioned in the battle along with some rules provided and battle will be based on those rules.
I am yet explore further and as I explore more I will be better equipped to win many, but my immediate requirement is to get some more cards and also open those other packs provided by Rob Wilberg so that, I can use some of those.
So far, I opened 2 of those 5 packs and I see that I got One card named Captain Fellblade which I find very useful compared to other cards as it has 2 different attacks, that running blade attack and also that purple gum like attack and it reduces the life by 3 in each round as in 1 with that running blade and 2 with that purple gum.

Wow, that card has really helped me to win many battles yesterday and today and I will explore it further and I hope to get some more such cards from the remaining 3 packs I have and I am just waiting to earn some more game token of glint in order to purchase few more potions of gold and legendary as every time I try to open I get an warning that I don't have enough potions and my immediate task is to win as many battles as possible and collect the glint and buy potions.
Looking forward to learn more from other battles and also if possible some cards delegation if someone can offer in order to start playing with other cards until I get some Crypto and start buying the cards.
This game has made me be glued to my screen so far and I will learn it as fast as possible and try to share more content in the future.

Yes, I am enjoying these battles, but limited cards means, I am using the same cards again and again.
Yes, I visited few blogs on splinterlands and I read some of those and started writing these blogs, I will understand it more as I explore it more and yes, will write as and when possible and earn some crypto and use it to buy cards.
I have to wait to get some resource credits back to complete publishing this.
