Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge - My Land experience on the Splinterlands game

in Splinterlands2 months ago

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge. I am thrilled to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. This week we have a new topic where users are encouraged to write anything about Lands in Splinterlands game. I would submit my entry to that here in this post.

The Lands update on the Splinterlands game was a very big update that was added to the game and I must say since then new players and inactive ones have come back to playing the game. This feature finalized the purpose of the name "Splinterlands" in the game. A lot were eager to wait for this period and it finally arrived at the expected time. First of all, let's talk about the types of lands that we have in the game.

The game has four different plots that a player can purchase or own in the game. They include; Neutral, Magic, Occupied, and Kingdom. Similarly, there are four different levels of these plots and they are; Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. As the name suggests, the highest is surely the Legendary level.

The ranks or levels indicate one's productivity per hour rate regarding earnings from a worksite. On land, one can create one or more worksites, which he can assign Cards, and then start working for grains, Research, or SPS. Depending on the strength of your workers and the level of your Land, productivity can be faster and higher. In that sense, you can earn more rewards and faster rewards from harvesting.

The grain you earn from harvesting on Lands can be swapped for Dec now. There are also fragments one can earn from harvesting on Lands but then they are scarce and one can get through easily or faster if you have certain features or a higher ranked level of Land. I was able to book myself one plot of land after the launch of the Lands in the game and it is a very low Land indeed.

Currently, I have 42,341.984 Grains from harvesting on Lands and my workers and production rate is slow because I don't have higher/stronger cards to give higher production per hour for me. There are also Regions on Lands and it indicates various locations of Plots. My plot's Region is called Ickledown.

Also, for every worker you place on your site, you need a certain amount of Staked DEC to sustain and feed the workers on your Plot to allow for the smooth running and continuity of their work.

Thank you all for your time and attention while reading my post. A link to my Land is provided here.
