Gladius Case Opening: Humble Beginnings in ClaNFT

This is the first Gladius Case that I have opened since ClaNFT was reborn again and actively recruiting guild members who are social and active. Since the rework and establishment of the Guild Bank (@clanft-bank) our fill rate and ladder position has significantly improved. To the extent that we should be able to open a Gladius Case every four or so brawls.

The pack contained a pretty solid mix of gladiators who bring a lot of different strengths to the table. Two rare gladiators: Captain Katie of the Life Splinter and Orella Abadon of the Fire Splinter. Three common gladiators: Helmet Kharafax of the Life Splinter, Hugo Strongsword of the Life Splinter and Whistling Damon of the Death Splinter.

Captain Katie is a high cost card but adds some much needed Magic damage to the Life Splinter with high damage and high health. This is enhanced by her Snipe ability to attack enemy monsters/gladiators who are not in the first position. She is let down by her speed but luckily all gladiators have Bloodlust.

Orella Abadon is a cheap and powerful addition to the Fire Splinter. With a mana cost of two but boasting three speed and two damage and the Sneak ability, Orella can be very dangerous. Best suited for a Tarsa team where the additional health and damage improves survivability and likelihood of engaging Bloodlust.

Helmet Kharafax is your utility, special ruleset gladiator within the Life Splinter. Best employed within battles that contain the Earthquake or Noxious Fumes rulesets to capitalise on the Scavenger ability. The cheap cost is offset by Helmet's low health and no offensive capability.

Hugo Strongsword is your classic, frontline tank for the Life Splinter. Low damage but high health and decent armour with the Shield ability will see him holding your front line whilst your backline monsters pick away at the enemy. If he does manage to secure a kill he quickly becomes formidable.

Whistling Damon is your backline sniper within the Death Splinter. Decent speed and health with two damage will see him picking away at the enemy backline. Best employed in low mana games when it is likely that he will secure an early kill and become unstoppable.

ClaNFT Public Service Announcement

We are currently looking for Brawl oriented players who have Silver Level Decks, A/B Novice Decks, and Gold-Foil Decks to improve our Brawl Fill Rate and find like-minded, social and competitive players.

We are also looking for players who are more on the contribution side of things, however, We DO NOT currently require Initial contributions, and our contribution system includes Brawl Participation, meaning we are very lax on contributions as long as you contribute in other ways we require 50 DEC / Month currently, with plans to raise this in the near future.

Our Guild Levels:

Level 3 Guild Hall | Level 3 Quest Lodge | Level 1 Arena | Level 2 Item Store | Level 2 Barracks

Guild Bank:

The Bank stores Cards for EoS Delegations, Brawl Delegations, and Newbie Delegations. This allows us to empower our newcomers and protect them during EoS! This is currently just started, so we do not have a lot of EoS CP currently, but we will be building every day.
