SHARE YOUR BATTLE! | KULU SWIMHUNTER

in Splinterlands3 years ago (edited)

Greetings to all the members of the Hive platform especially the Splinterlands community.

I will share today my battle with the featured monster in this week's challenge which features the use of Kulu Swimhunter, a common grade, range type monster under the water element from the Chaos Legion Edition.

The battle is under the rank match battle of the Silver League while the level of my chosen monsters in the field is under the guidance of the Bronze league.

RULESETS

  • Lost Magic: Magic type monsters can't be used in the battle.
  • 60 mana battle.

BATTLE LINEUP STRATEGY

  • Because the given mana is within the 60 mana battle, I decided to choose some higher mana monsters to use. For this battle, I choose Lir Deepswimmer as my Summoner giving all my summoned monsters in the field with additional 2 armor stat, ability to return the range damage given by the enemy monsters, and causing the enemy monsters of the enemy to have the Blinded debuff.

  • I choose The Kraken as the tank due to its high health, receiving all the enemy attacks first with its Taunt ability.

  • Second position is the Sand Worm to causing a great amount of damage to the last position monster of the enemy.

  • Third in the position is the Deeplurker with its Opportunity ability, it can attack the monsters of the enemy in any position it is placed. I put it in this position incase the Sand Worm is defeated as the first position monster in my field.

  • Fourth position is the featured monster Kulu Swinhunter, I placed it in this position to protect the Axemaster for immediate death while causing some damage to the enemy.

  • Fifth position is the Axemaster. It has the double strike ability leading to two time the damage to its target enemy. Making my lineup feels like I have a 7th monster member with the advantage of greater damage.

  • Final position and the backline defense is the Cornealus due to its high health and its capacity to heal itself, protecting also the Axemaster for the sneak attacks.

In the battle, the opponent choose to focus more on the range type damage making my chosen summoner for the lineup a great counter with the abilities given to it. You could also notice the difference in the level of the monsters in the field leading to a great difference in the stats department of the monsters which gives me a lead in the battle. We also both choose to have a tank monster with the taunt ability, the only difference is the position we placed them.

DID MY STRATEGY WORKED IN THIS BATTLE?

My strategy in this battle worked efficiently, with the given mana ruleset on the higher number, choosing the Lir Deepswimmer is a great advantage with the abilities given to it even if its on the 1st level. Even if I don't fully utilize the mana given in the ruleset, by choosing the monsters with a higher mana with incredible damage stat gives me an edge in the battle with the addition of the armor stat given by my chosen summoner, my monsters are invulnerable. Thanks to the ability of The Kraken to received all the damages, my backline monsters all worked to instantly defeat the enemy monsters leading for the battle to end in the second round because of the the stat difference.

DO YOU LIKE USING THE KULU SWIMHUNTER IN THE BATTLE?

I definitely like using the Kulu Swimhunter in this battle, It will be a great card for the upcoming modern format of the battle which focus more on the latest edition of the cards. It is also best to use in battles with the rulesets of Little League and Rise of the Commons making it a great card to buy this time with how cheap the price of this card available in the marker.
