Hello guys!
Yeeeeey I'm back again with my Splinterlands post. I'm writing this post to follow Splinterlands Mage Secrets Battle Challenge with theme Equalizer. These rulesets are a good opportunity to use some monsters with small Health Points (HP) but have large damage, or monsters with small HP but large armor.
Well guys, as we know starting this season there is no longer a limit to unlock the level of each league, so even though you are in the bronze league but you use max level monsters and summoners then all abilities will be unlocked. So the strategy that I will share may be one of the strategy references that you can use, whether you are in any league. And in this battle I used my scholarship account with IGN BLTZR-WIZARD-700 who plays in the Diamond league. I played in the modern rank using only the full Chaos Legion core monster with the addition of several reward cards.
Ok guys, without further ado, let's go straight to the main topic of this post!
BATTLE PREPARATION
Challenge Rules
RULESET: EQUALIZER
Description:
All unit start with the same health, based on the highest health on either team.
Buffs and debuffs are done afterward - this impacts base health.
Battle Rulesets
This battle has 2 rulesets with a capacity of 35 and the active elements are Fire, Water, Earth, Life, and Dragon.
Equalizer, In this rulesets The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the monster on either team with highest base Health. This is a great opportunity to use all your monsters that have a small base Health but have large damage or armor.
Up to Eleven, All monsters have the Amplify ability. Amplify ability will increase Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorn damage to all enemy units by 1.
Line Up and Strategy
In general, the strategies that I plan to face the Equalizer include:
- Use a Support monster that has the Thank Heal ability, to restore the main tank.
- Other monster support such as Repair and Triage also need to be considered for use
- Using Resurrect Monsters.
- Use monster Affliction to prevent Heal on enemy tanks.
- Focusing on one target, it will be more effective to kill one monster by one than to spread the attack to several points.
- Focusing on one target, it will be more effective to kill one monster by one than to spread the attack to several points.
With the above rulesets in mind, I put together the line-up as I explain in the table below:
Monster | Position | Abilities | Strategy |
---|---|---|---|
Grandmaster Rathe | Summoner | +1Armor, Void Armor, Amplify | |
Pelacor Conjurer | First | Flying, Magic Reflect, Devine Shield, Phase | |
Aves Sturgis | Second | Weapons Training, Devine Shield | |
Chaos Agent | Third | Dodge, Phase, Backfire | |
Adelade Brightwing | Fourth | Flying, Repair, Resurrect, Immunity, Swiftness | |
Prismologist | Fifth | Blast, Forcefield, Silence | |
Venari Crystalsmith | Last | Thank Heal, Dispel |
You can see the complete line-up of both teams in the picture below. At first glance, the strength of the two teams is evenly matched, because both of them use Summoner Antimagic. Opponents use Immortalis which can provide -1 Health, Void, and Shatter buffs.
BATTLEFIELD ARENA
This battle is very interesting and entertaining guys, and this is a battle that is quite good enough to require dozens of rounds to determine the winner.
STRATEGY DISCUSSION
The strategy I applied succeeded in this battle. Although the implementation is not 100% the same as the strategy I planned because of the limitations of the monsters I have, but in general the results of this battle are in accordance with what I planned. And on another occasion with the same rulesets, I'll reuse this strategy by adjusting other complementary rulesets.
