Hello Guys!
Yey I'm back with my Splinterlands post, and today I'm going to have one of my battles against Almo Cambio which is very hard to hit and makes me excited because of this untouchable monster. Well this post is to follow the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge.
Back when I was early playing Splinterlands and I was still playing in the Brone-Silver league, I also liked to use Almo Cambio, especially in the Noxious Fumes (All Monsters star the battle Poisoned) rulesets because Almo Cambio has the ability Immunity since level 1. After playing in the Gold-Diamond league, I have already abandoned this monster because the level up rental price of this monster is very expensive. I admit that although Almo Cambio does not have an attack, but it can indeed act as a good tank.
Almo Cambio is a Neutral Legendary Monster from the Untimed edition of the Reward card. This monster has 7 mana but no attack. The advantages of this monster is Almo Cambio is a Neutral Legendary Monster from the Untimed edition of the Reward card. This monster has 7 mana but no attack.
The advantages of this monster are its large HP and high speed. Level 1 of this monster has active Immunity ability with a base speed of 4 and HP 12. Each level increase of this card, accompanied by stats that also increase and additional abilities at each level. Level 2 has additional Phase abilities, level 3 has additional Return Fire abilities, and at max levels there is additional Reflection Magic ability. HP also always increases with each level increase, and Speed also increases.
Because of its stats, Almo Cambio can be used as an anternative tank, especially when coupled with the provision of buff speed, it could be that Almo Cambio will become an untouchable monster. Especially in the upper leagues such as Gold-Diamond, both Melee, Range, and Magic attacks are quite difficult to defeat this monster.
How strong is Almo Cambio? Let's take a look at the battle as I fight Almo Cambio with a large number of miss attacks, even from magic attacks.
Well, I'm neither a proplayer nor a tournament hero. I just enjoys sharing strategy and battles that I find interesting in my own view. I played on modern battles on Diamond leagues, and maybe the battle strategies I'd share weren't suitable to apply in other leagues because the differences in ability that open up are different from each league.
BATTLEFIELD ARENA
This battle runs quite long, requiring 11 rounds to determine the winner. Although I won in the end, this is because the level of cards I use is superior to the opponent's deck. There were a lot of missed attacks on Almo Cambio. This is because of the very high Speed and Phase ability it has. Moreover, Almo Cmabio also gets a buff speed from Summoner.
The battle begins with the giving of buffs and debuffs from all monsters and summoners. The average speed of my monster is lower than that of the opponent. From the beginning of the round, Enrage from Void Dragon and Almo Cambio immediately activated so that 4 missed attacks hit Almo Cambio. The start of the round was pretty annoying.
The beginning of the second round began with Djinn Oshanus' attack that missed the Void Dragon. My Runemancer Atuat and Oshuur Constantia get attacks from the opposing monster Range, it seems that my strategy by using the monster Triage will be very helpful in this battle. At the end of this round, 3 of my monster attacks missed Almo Cambio. This is actually natural because after Enrage Almo Cmabio is active, this monster has speed 11 and Phase ability which increases the chance to avoid magic attacks.
My difficulty to win finally diminished after Mardaali Guardian died from being hit by a Chaos Dragon Scattershot. At least now HP Almo Cambio will not restore anymore.
The Fourth Round is not much different from before, many of my monsters missed hitting Almo Cambio, Almo's HP was reduced only from Void Dragon attacks and hit by Blast from Chaos Dragon whose attack hit Baakjira.
yes, finally Almo Cambio Died in the sixth round due to Djinn Renova's attack. Obviously after this it will be easier for me to win because the worst difficulties that are so annoying are gone.
This battle ends in the 11th round after all the opponent's monsters die. Akau won with a complete formation, none of my monsters died. The strategy I implemented worked very well. Next I will explain about the strategy I use.
LINE-UP AND STRATEGY
The rulesets
- Keep Your Distance (Monster with Melee attack may not be used in battles)
- What Doesn't Kill You (All Monsters have tea Enrage ability)
- Up to Eleven (All Monster have the Amplify ability)
- Mana Capacity 99
- Element Actives Water, Life, Death and Dragon.
Srategy
The battle with Mana Capacity 99 is a very difficult battle as well as fun. This means that it will be difficult to predict what monsters the opponent will use, and it is possible that the opponent will alla out using all the strongest monsters he has because there is no need to have any limitations anymore. Unfortunately, we can only use Magic and Range monsters, so the strategy and selection of monsters are a little limited. I will use Dragon Summoner by combining monsters from the Dragon and Life elements.
Line-Up
Monster | Position | Abilities | Strategy |
---|---|---|---|
Kretch Tallevor | Summoner | None | Kretch Tallevor, the Dragon Summoner mana 3 that doesn't give any buffs and debuffs. It's the only Dragon Summoner I have, albeit without the important abilities used to summon monsters from the Dragon element. |
Void Dragon | First (Tank) | Flying, Void, Phase | I have the Void Dragon as the main tank because it has high Speed, as well as having the abilities of Flying, Void, and Phase. Only Magic and Range monsters can be used in this battle, so defending and dodging Magic attacks is very important. Moreover, if the Enrage ability of the rulesets has been activated, it could be that the Void Dragon will be difficult to hit. |
Runemancer Atuat | Second (Second Tank, Attacker, Support) | Headwinds, Forcefield, Last Stand | Runemancer Atuat, Life monster Riftwatchers edition which has Headwinds ability that reduces all anamy range attacks. In addition, this monster also acts as a second tank because it has high HP and armor. As an attacker, this monster has 3 magic attacks. Unfortunately, the speed of this monster is only 1. |
Chaos Dragon | Third (Main Attacker) | Flying, Scattershot, Blast, Blind | I chose Chaos Dragon as the main attacker because the attacks and abilities possessed are very explosive. Although it is not a max level, all the abilities of this monster has been unlocked. It has 3 magic attacks equipped with Scattershot which provides attacks in all directions and Blast which means that the attack will not only hit 1 target, but also attack monsters between targets. |
Djinn Renova | Fourth (Attacker, Support) | Strengthen, Triage | Djinn Renova has 4 magic attacks as an attacker, and as a Support who has Strengthen abilities that increase the Hp of all monster friends, as well as a Triage ability that will restore the HP of other monsters who are not in the first position that receives the most attacks. |
Adelade Brightwing | Fifth (Support) | Flying, Repair, Resurrect, Immunity, Swiftess | A favorite monster that has support abilities that are very useful for defense. Repair ability will repair 2 Armor from the monster of the friend who receives the most attacks, Resurrect which resurrects the first dead monster of the friend and also Swiftess ability which increases +1 speed from all monster friends |
Oshuur Constantia | Last (Support) | Resurrect, Reflection Shield, Thank Heal | Besides Adelade Brightwing, Oshuur Constantia is also the most important support, because it has a Resurrect ability that will revive the second dead monster (the first Monster Resurrect by Adelade Brightwing) and also has a Thank Heal ability which in each round will restore the monster's HP in the first position, namely the Void Dragon. 2x Resurrect and supported by Tank Heal ability, I hope the defense I prepared will be very strong. |
The opponent uses Summoner Kelya Frendul which gives +1 Speed and +1 Armor buffs. The picture below is a picture of the line-up of the two teams.
The opponent uses 2 Tanks that have no attack on the first and second positions. Almo Cambio level 3 which has speed 6 and HP 15, as well as abilities Immunity, Phase, and Return Fire are in the first position. Almo Cambio will receive a +1 Speed and Armor buff from Kelya Frendul, of course this will be even more troublesome because especially if the Enrage is active.
In the second position, there is Baakjira which is also a tank without a very strong attack because it has Void, Slow, Strengthen, and Heal abilities. In third place is Djinn Oshanus as an Attacker with 2 magic damage and Void, Phase, and Forcefield abilities. In fourth place there is Mardaali Guardian as support for Tank Heal and Repair, and in fifth and last position there is Range monster as attacker, Coastal Nymp and Sea Stalker.
From the number of attacks, of course, the opponent will lose because I only have 2 magic attacks and 9 Range attacks, while I have 16 Magic attacks. But who knows if Almo Cambio will be so hard to hit that makes many of my attacks go to waste.
