Splinterlands ART Contest Week 176 Grum Flameblade

Hi Everyone

Here's another post about joining splinterlands art contest 😃

The character I'm drawing is the newest fire element monster, with high mana, Grum FlameBlade !

The idea of my drawing is Grum in a close up picture 😂

My Drawing is made using Procreate
Here's the journey :

1. Sketching
First, I make a sketch of the face

2. Bolding the Sketch
Same as my usual drawing, I bold the sketch of the head shape

**3. Drawing Face
Next.. I draw the face ( eye, nose, lips, teeth, and the beard )

Still messy ! 😛

4. Colorizing
I colorize the face

5. Shadowing
I was trying a new shadowing style in this drawing.. usually, I always make the shadowing using airbrush pen. The difference is usually my shadowing is always look like gradation, but now my shadowing is a solid color. ( Can compare with my previous drawings 😊 )

And the final step is.. adding background color !
