Hello everyone, this time I will be participating in this Splinterlands Challenge, where I will be showing you a battle in the modern league where I'll be battling against powerful units.
But first, let's talk a little bit about Riklauniman, one of the enemy team's units, who is legendary and has both melee and ranged attacks. He can be played in both the earth and life element, so Eternal Tofu is a great summoner for him.
Riklauniman along with Pallus, who is a grifinn, are the only ones units that benefit from each other if they are in the same lineup, for this to happen they must be next to each other at the start of the battle. Riklauniman gains the True Strike ability and Pallus, in turn, gains the Ambush ability.
Riklauniman is the first unit to have the Expose ability on its own, having an 80% chance to remove mostly defense abilities, it can remove the Forcefield, Lookout, Reflection Shield, Shield, Void, Void Armor, Cleanse or Immunity after a successful attack.
He can also use a melee attack in any position thanks to his Charge ability. And has a 50% chance to Stun the enemy it attacks.
As in many battles, I used the trustly Eternal Tofu, one of the best summoners right now. My opponent also used one.
In the first position, this time I didn't use Grimbardun Claus, instead I used Grimbardun Fighter, I prefer him this time because I though the enemy would play Venka who deals double damage to non-attacking units, so Fighter who has attack is not affected by that.
Lord Thanalor in the second position, to amplify the damage of the thorns provided by Tofu, will also help reduce the armor of the enemy units by 2.
Then, to heal my units on the frontline, I put Meriput Magician. Venka is next, a powerful melee unit, and who I decided to give the triage and scavenger ability thanks to Tofu.
In the fourth position, Delya, who attacks twice per round, has 4 ranged attack power, so she can deal up to 8 damage at best. And finally, Mycelic Slipspawn, who will draw the attention of enemy backline units to attack it before my other units, and will only take 1 damage from attacks that deal 5 base damage or more thanks to having Forcefield.
In the first round, Lord Thanalor defeats the enemy Iziar, increasing the stats of Quora and Olivia by 1. And the enemy Venari Crystalsmith defeats my Mycelic Slipspawn.
In the second round, Venka destroys the enemy Quora, and performs another attack on Olivia.
In the third round, Delya destroys Olivia with a double attack.
In the fourth round, Venka performs a double kill by destroying Nalara Geinek and Riklauniman.
And in the fifth and final round, Delya ends the battle by defeating Venari Crystalsmith.
Full BattleIn this battle, the powerful enemy units were quickly defeated due to their lack of protection abilities and also because they did not have a resistant unit that protect them, like my Grimbardun Fighter. Quora, Olivia and Riklauniman are very good units, but they need some time to deal significant damage and get stronger, especially Olivia. Venka and Delya did a good job, dealing a lot of damage and defeating the enemy units quickly, before they could get stronger.
