Hello everyone, this time I will be participating in this Splinterlands challenge, so I will be expanding the lore of one of the beta summoners of the game, which unfortunately is now very difficult to see in battles.
When I first played Splinterlands, I immediately liked this amazing summoner who sometimes countered Zaku, when there weren't many summoners back then. Its design is cool, and it looks like one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. That's why I chose The Peakrider!
The creature that rides the mountains of the Life Splinter strikes fear into the hearts of every Khymian. His demon steed stands fifteen feet tall, with a long, sharp horn from his forehead that makes a mockery of the sacred Unicorn. The man himself (if he can be called a man) is never seen without his horse, as if the two are one. He has mighty wings, but no one has seen him use them, and he carries a large, horrific weapon with him always. When the Peakrider stands at the summoner's table in a Mount Mox tournament, few can face him without cowering.
Unofficial or maybe yes?
Its origin is unknown, some Khymian elders say that it has existed since Splinterlands was created. Others say he was a young man who died on the battlefield alongside his beloved horse. His parents tried their best to bring him back to life with magic, but it didn't work. In their desperation they did the impossible and contacted the Lord of Darkness, who brought the young man and his horse back to life very easily, but his parents lost their souls in exchange. His appearance changed drastically, as did his horse, he doesn't remember anything from his past they say, except for his loyal horse. He refused to serve the Lord of Darkness, and returned to Khymeria, fighting without knowing why, for his land, what he once called home.
The Chaos Legion
When the Chaos Legion appeared in Khymeria, Peakrider led a squad to fight them. On a dark evening, as he defeated the last of the undead on the battlefield with his giant sickle, his soldiers prepared to celebrate the victory. When suddenly he and his allies heard a powerful explosion near them, no one was hurt, but when the smoke cleared, they saw how a big Night Ghoul come out of there, controlled by its anger attacking them.
Peakrider watched as some of his brave soldiers attacked the monster but were quickly annihilated by the beast with a claw swipe, while the rest ran in the opposite direction of the monster. Peakrider ordered calm, ready to face the Ghoul, throwing his sickle like a boomerang with such force that it cut off half of the Ghoul's right arm. The monster let out a powerful roar, and charged towards him, Peakrider also did the same while swinging his sickle. He was much faster than the ghoul, cutting off its other arm, while the horse had stuck its sharp horn into the monster's abdomen. The ghoul bled out, staining the white armor of the rider and horse with reddish-purple blood, and collapsed to the ground.
Peakrider showed his soldiers how strong he was, now they will follow him to the end. Barashkukor heard that the army he had sent to Khymeria was completely annihilated, now it will personally come with a legion of demons to destroy Khymeria.
