Hello everyone, I was reading some Splinterlands content and came across @thepeoplesguild's post, and noticed that they are doing a very creative challenge every week. So, this time I'll be taking part in this week's challenge, which is to create a card based on Splinterlands co-founder, Yabapmatt.

Lore:

When Yabapmatt was born, the people around him watched in amazement as instead of crying, he smiled while clapping, and with each clap he created a mini thunder in the palm of his hands. As he grew older, his magical powers increased, so much so that he could quickly learn spells just by seeing them once. Since young, he used his knowledge for good in the council of magicians.

Once, when he was in the river, exhausted from so much practice, a giant shark emerged from the sea and when it was about to attack Yabapmatt, he raised his hand towards the shark and recited a short spell, the shark stopped in the air for a few seconds and returned him to the sea. Now he continues learning, inventing some new spells, as well as teaching wizards how to be immune and counter spells.

DUAL-ELEMENT:

I decided that the summoner Yabapmatt would be a dual element summoner, light because most are humans, and water because he adapts to any scenario, and also 'cause I like the sea.

ABILITIES:

Yabapmatt will give +1 speed and armor to his friendly allies, since as he teaches counterspells, his allies need to be quick to act, and a bit of armor in case something goes wrong. And the Giantkiller ability because it would be a nice addition to the game, being the first summoner to grant this ability. Now be careful powerful monsters.

LEFT SIDE TACTIS:

Due to his high level of knowledge, Yabapmatt will grant a unit IMMUNITY and the MIMIC ability. I would love to see which unit will benefit most from this.

RIGHT SIDE TACTICS:

You can grant a unit the Reflection Shield, and the new ability, called "Man of the People", in his desire to help his people, Yabapmatt invented a new spell that will help them with some negative effects.

While this unit is alive, negate allies' Weary, Incendiary and Electrified abilities. And if you negate at least one, grant a random enemy the ability Weary, Incendiary or Electrified, depending on the first ability that was negated on your field. And at the start of the battle, the unit in front of this unit will not be affected by Expose. Cannot be mimic.

This new ability will help the recent reward rebellion cards with their negative abilities, so they can be used more in battles without consequences. Additionally, this ability directly counters Cryptic summoner, so Grimbardun Smith can now relax.

EXTRA MANA:

While designing this card, I thought it would be cool to have the option, when choosing a summoner, to decide if you want to spend a little more mana, so that units can gain extra buffs or abilities. So I did, when choosing Yabapmatt, you can decide to spend 7 mana or +4 mana, 11 total, to give a unit the Bloodlust ability.

I think I made Yabapmatt too OP, or maybe not? Do you like this new summoner and the new ability?

I really enjoyed this dynamic, I had a good time designing the card and thinking of some new additions to the game. I hope to participate in the next challenge.

The Man of the People ability sounds fun! Perhaps a bit OP, but fun nonetheless. Well done here, @aubryd! Thanks again
