# I am a stone store - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 68 Report Card

Lava Spider - a card I like to use, but would hate to find on my kitchen ceiling. It's no secret that I love Pixel Art, and I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I loved animated Pixel Art... and I'm sure it's even less of a surprise that I love animated Splinterlands Pixel Art.... but also... I don't love spiders. This is great art from @durlan of the

Hi everyone!

Land 1.75 dropped and I've been really enjoying being a total stone miner.

I've made nearly $6 in digital farming:

Of my 7 plots, I had previously had 2 grain, 1 research and 4 SPS - and once Land 1.75 dropped, I quickly realized it was going to cost me so much to keep researching and farming SPS, so now I'm running 2 grain and 5 stone.

I'm farming more grain than I need, which is fine, and I'm not using any of the stone myself, so I've thrown every single pebble and rock into the LPs. I had been hoping to have balanced plots between grain, stone, iron and wood, but at the moment it's been pretty exciting to be mining stone while stone has had such a good ROI compared with wood and iron:

I assume announcements around the presale of Conclave Arcana aren't too far away. I'll be so curious to see what the demand is like... it's hard to imagine there are any whales left - but then I'm always constantly surprised with the amount of money that sloshes around this game, so I genuinely hope it goes really well and follows in the footsteps of the responsible printing of Rebellion...

I don't see why they wouldn't... I think it's widely understood that the overprinting and sales of Chaos Legion hurt the entire ecosystem... but I also understand Splinterlands Inc needs revenue to operate.

I don't think I'll be getting Kelan Gaines:

I've only got enough vouchers for a 1/5th of Kelan. I have noticed that the Exclusive Voucher cards have kept their value pretty well, and vouchers have risen in price since Kelan was announced adding another $20 or so to the overall max cost.

That said... it is a brilliant card, so it's a total shame. I haven't really faced it in battle yet, but I'm sure it pairs very well with the Astral Entity summoner.

I managed to scrap into Champs III in Wild with just 30 minutes to go.... so that was exciting!
Last season there was a weird bug where even though I had finished in Champs III in both leagues, Wild threw me down to Gold II (instead of Diamond II) so it took me a lot more games to make the journey back up.

I'm pleased to tell you that didn't happen this time, and I'm starting season 69 (Nice.) in Diamond II in both.

Alright, another absolute banger of a season in regards to Glint farming. Hitting both Champs III leagues really, really helps now that Modern is comparable from a Glint win perspective.

I managed to sell all 9 Legendary surplus cards (I didn't even try to sell the gold foil) I got last season... so that was really exciting and mean my plan totally worked.

I did realize last week that I've been operating under a total misunderstanding:

I thought for Chaos Legion reward cards, the Unbind DEC cost steadily went up over time and the same process applied to Rebellion. This is not correct.

The correct process is:

  • While in print, all Rebellion Reward cards cost 20X DEC to unbind.
  • When Rebellion Reward cards are no longer in print - the cost drops to 10X.
  • The cost rises by 1X each month for 5 months until it hits 15X.
  • It then stays at 15X for a year or 18 months or whatever until you can no longer unbind.

I thought selling surplus cards would be cheapest right now, which was totally wrong. It'll be cheapest in the month following the switch to Conclave Arcana Reward cards... which I would assume is maybe 6-12 months away.

I only have 4 cards left to be sold...

... and I probably messed up the timing. I do have more gold foil cards that I could sell or burn, so I'll wait until Rebellion Rewards are no longer being printed and see what the market is like. The 4 cards above will likely be too expensive if they haven't sold at that point... so fingers crossed someone is keen to finish their collections up sooner.

In terms of my own collection, I've now effectively maxed Epics and Legendaries:

I've still got to purchase 6 Surly Drunk cards, but there isn't much liquidity and the prices are a little higher than I'd like, so I'm hoping more people put some up for sale over the next few months.

So, I have nearly 600K Glint to spend on Rare and Common Draws and Loot Chests:

100 Rare Draws for 75000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

I didn't get any gold foils, but made some good progress.

400 Common Draws for 60000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

I got 10 gold foil cards in this batch which is my record so far.

I've now got 459,793 Glint left.

I can't remember if the Ultimate Loot Chests were good value or not, but since I've already maxed out Batch 1 for Rare and Commons I might as well give it a shot.

30 Ultimate Chests for 135000 Glint with 30 Alchemy potions and 30 Legendary potions:

  • 21 Legendary potions
  • 43 Alchemy potions
  • 24 energy
  • 16,937 merits
  • 2 Legendary cards
  • 2 Epic cards
  • 8 Rare cards
  • 26 Common cards

Not bad at all! Pretty good!
Now I think I'll hang onto the surplus Legendary cards until Rebellion is out of print.

150 Major Chests for 150000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions and 0 Legendary potions:

150 chests is a lot to go through, but I did get 1 Legendary and 2 Epics.... so that seems pretty great as well.

I've now got 174,793 Glint left which I guess I'll leave until next season.
I did go from 13 energy to 84 energy, so I'm going to have to play a ton of games today just to make sure I don't miss out on any energy accumulation for the season. This is why it might be smarter to purchase the Loot Chests during the season instead of right at the end.

Rentals are still dropping but I haven't spent any time recalibrating my rentals even after it changed to Season only.

I'm still not sure why the SPS report isn't appearing, I definitely claimed my SPS about 30 minutes before the season ended. Here is my table for good measure...

I got my win loss above 1! but only managed 35 battles for the season 😢 just not getting enough spare time. So with this new release will lots of cards become redundant again.

Well done! It sounds like you're doing a lot of great work so maybe it's kind of a good thing you're too busy for a card game.

Yeah, this is ultimately the problem with a Play to Earn game like Splinterlands (and even similar games like Magic the Gathering, etc) - the company needs to make revenue and their best way to do that is with periodic card edition releases... so our card investments have to continually be made redundant for the game to continue to exist.

Luckily we'll always have Wild to play in.
