Mylor Crowling (AKA The Green Dude)
As you know, that I am writing a series featuring the Dice Summoners. I started with this post after I opened 880 Azamare Dice over here. Totday I am going to feature the next summoner on my priority list Mylor Crowling; I am calling him The Green Dude; of the Earth Splinter :)
Mylor is a 3 mana summmoner of the Earth Splinter. He can't be widely used, but on melee only battles; like Upclose & Personal, Melee Mayhem, or Super Sneak; especially in low man cases; the Green Dude is unstoppable! This is simply because he give Thorns ability to all friendly monsters. This means even your Chicken can kill a low mana monster!
Nicknames
Here are the nicknames again, just for reference.
Splinter | Summoner | Personal Nickname |
---|---|---|
Fire | Qid Wuff | Fire Troll |
Water | Vera Salacia | Water Babe |
Earth | Mylor Crowling | Green Dude |
Life | Lorna Shine | Ninja Babe |
Death | Owster Rotwell | Magic Dude |
Dragon | Brighton Bloom | Flying Dude |
A few battles with The Green Dude
I have 17 total battles with the Ninja BabeMagic Dude. 10 Wins - 7 Defeats. You may say that's not very impressive. Well think again, I was testing, so I was overusing him any chance that I get. There were many situations I used Mylor where I should never use him, especially on higher mana he is much less effective. So this season, I assure you, my win rate using him will be much higher. With that said, now it is time for some battles.
Battle -1
So here's the first battle. Vs. none other than Jacekw, the man, the legend! I think this is the first time ever I won against Jace, so I am proud about it. Guys like Jace rarely make any mistake, and for this 12 mana Melee Mayhem & Earthquake battle, I think team is just perfect.
Jace used Xander, which is an obvious choice to save mana. I would have done that too, if I wasn't testing Mylor.
He use Cocatrice in position 1. Obvious choice for no magic low mana battles. I am such a dummy that I still forget this simple thing myself! I did use Cocatrice, but I used the bird as a rear guard, as I was protecting myself against sneak attacks.
The rest of our teams is quite similar, but due to his lower mana summoner, Jace could afford a healer. I couldn't, but I am faster than him because of Ooze, and Brownie both.
So as you can see, even if Jace's vulture is one level above mine, I still won comfortably even without a healer. Just because of thorn.
Battle -2
This is the next battle, vs the Water Splinter. This is a 13 mana battle, ideal for Mylor. All but the life splinter is active. Super sneak & Taking Sides, meaning no neutral monsters are allowed. Hey, no chicken for us!
Here it could have been bad, as Mylor is quite defenseless against Range and Magic attacks, in this particular case I had both speed and surprise element on my side. Although Rular of the Seas is a very powerful card, it is slow and relatively low mana. I took it out easily before it landed a single attack. Rest is piece of cake. Especially because the new Dice Ranger GOBLIN DARTLING is low mana and has shatter ability.
Yes I am already loving this boy, man he is savage. I just join bronze tournament to test this savage boy. Mine is low level and it will take longer alas as usual😂 badass battle Azir we proud of you :P
Thank you! Means a lot coming from you @xawi. I am learning :)
I can't imagine how complex this game will be in a few years. The choices become less and less clear, and the older cards will become more and more obscure and harder to anticipate.
I think if I bring my experience of playing Pokémon for 20 years out, I’d say the older cards will stay and will be used, but will be less effective. I still use my perfect Charizard sometimes... mostly to surprise people. So if this game of ours last long that is what will happen to Flesh Golem.
Maybe they will introduce some one-time upgrades for some of the older cards to re-balance them and jump start demand.
Mega-Charizard! Yes, that is a thing.
Mega-Flesh Golem..,
Earth is my favorite splinter, but i would always rent summoners to be able to play my best cards. I got 2 Gold Mylors in the 1st few Dice i bought so i'm committed to leveling it up even more
Earth was my favorite Splinter too until Yodin Zaku was released! Now I might be creeping back there again.
tHORNY dude was a better nickname for the green dude ;)
The screeching vulture's speed made all the difference in the second battle! As for the one against Jacek, it is another example of how the coca is getting neutralized by the new summoners.
Yeah that’s not a bad name either. I used to underestimate speed; I don’t anymore.
Dada, oneday I'll do a math for you and show how you can utilize speed with a few abilities to create a 100% miss chance 😉
There are quite a few criteria that needs to match, but when you can pull it off, it's so satisfying!
I already do something similar with Plado and Expoding Dwarf in Equilizer I have been able to move it up to 9, at that speed it’s untouchable
woah! the Mylor, he is my favorite card from the dice edition...
I think I still like Lorna the best. But the green dude is cool
I didn't tried using lorna yet, but yes I think he is a good summoner also by nullifying all the first damage taken on your monsters...
also the brighton bloom is a great summoner when it comes to earthquakes and now my chicken can fly lol

Yeah some of us making the same joke about the Flying Goblin Mech
i upgraded mine to level 4 within an hour of the release and used it to get 10 sequential wins before everyone had a look at it and adjusted to it. it's not the first time i've done that with a new card :-)
Yes, the dice summoners are quite good
pwned
Woowww.. New Summoners... Incredible Ability! This is too much! The level of the CARDS was so high for me!
@azircon, In a way those Battles are reflecting as Golden Battles.
Keep up with this Narration.
Have a great time ahead and stay blessed.
