But hey, I am not Jim Cramer, and that is a fact :)
So what am I talking about?
I am saying I am feeling good about putting some new cash into Splinterlands now. Obviously, I don't think you or anyone else should follow me. Do you know why? Because everyone's life and needs are different, so mine should be very unique and so should be yours. In other words, just because I am feeling bullish and putting new cash into the game, doesn't mean you should. Please do your own research and make your own financial decision. Phew! That is the disclaimer out of the way.
Look at this beautiful thumbnail/title image. It took me a while to put it together, only because I am not savvy to put thumbnail art together, but I can can good at it with time. I created the background image in DALL-E3 and put the stuff together in photopea. Look at the resource histogram carefully. Do you see that people are turning SPS plots back on? Yes, they like cash today!
Conclave Arcana (California Pack) Launch
It's incoming. California packs are definitely incoming (thank you @aftersound). I like that name much better :) The impact is seen in prices of everything Splinterlands. SPS is on the rise. After a long time I can paste of chart of SPS!
Look at that! After languishing and dragging along the bottom for ages, from April 09, 2025, it broke free and started rallying over it's hourly 50 EMA. I typically call this type of move when paired with fundamental changes in business (in this case the CA pack) a trend reversal. From that time, the prices have doubled. My main account staked value is up by $80K. This is only the beginning, I expect!

Turning on more Land Plots
Not only I have have a lease now on Region 10 (very small amount, only 10 plots leased to @infidel1258); but I am also turning on more plots myself. Just today I have turned on 9 more plots in region 9 (hey it rhymes!), but also turned on 2 more plots in region 10.
I am bullish on land after a long time, perhaps the first time ever since the land is launched. I am soon going to activate 100% of my tract on region 9, because it is more balanced, and I want to do my honest part in region 9 where others are working too.
I think the following about land resources:
- All land resources are currently undervalued
- Preatoria is currently 31% active, but I see highly unlikely total production can double in near term, if ever! I say @mori-no-giant in accurate on this
- Grain is undervalued big time, there isn't enough land and card to produce the grain that is required to run Preatoria
I strongly recommend to the land owners to understand this grain factor plot and act towards it. It you sleep on this, it is going to cost you more money in future!

This is exciting. I read almost every article I see regarding land. I'm also developing a secondary tract with some of my other countrymen.
We need to inspire more people to get into land!

The recent one I wrote was about a single non-grain plot and how to work around obtaining the required grain. I'm hoping it helps newbies to get started with land with any available plot they can get.

I like your idea of a short cut to items and spells and reminds me of something @aftersound said ages ago about maybe just getting something like a wall/shield as an item - seems it could be a simple one if we get another building for crafting wagons, why not jus add another "recipe" for a consumable "Wall of Wood/Iron/Stone" that gives an additional shield to the first unit or something that you add in the tactics stage
Let us see how this pans out. Already the introduction of 3 new resources is putting a major wrench in the land management which is a very welcome change.
I think I am going to have to skip this one for the first time ever. I am still sitting on a ton of chaos legion packs I took a bath on. I have a feeling once the packs are gone the price of SPS will fall again. I hope you pull some good cards!

'California' just rolls off the tongue better! Really appreciate all the focus you're putting on land right now as I would say it is equally exciting to Conclave Arcana. There seems to be a lot happening in Splinterlands right now and it's great to see the team firing on all cylinders.
If we do the midnight potion and everything else right, we will put a fire under the price of the land resources!

I am also bullish on Splinterlands, hoping for a pullback in May or June so that I can invest some more into the game when I have cash coming.
For some reason I thought that legendary packs of Conclave Arcana will only cost 8 dollars and intended to maybe but 30 packs. It turns out I was wrong and they are far more expensive than that. So now I think that at best I will buy 10 legendary packs. Still not sure if I will buy any -few hundred euro is a lot of money for me.
