Status Quo
Hello everyone! Some time has passed, and I think the progress I've made is worth mentioning in a post. This time, I will focus on my tokens around the HIVE system, since I usually don't cover those that much. There has been development in my Land as well, as I found a very cheap Shard Mine in my region, so I pulled the trigger. Additionally, I traded plots with @thejedo , which led to some changes.
HP and HBD
With the recent posts about the KE-Ratio and me learning that HBD is not really beneficial to the HIVE-Ecosystem, I started to reduce my HBD stake last week. It's now at 70 HBD. Also, my new tactic is: All the HBD-Payouts are converted into HIVE. Of that, 25% is staked/powered up, and 75% is used for Ingame-Progress.
That works really good - I quickly climed up to 500 HP!
My Account growth now looks very similar to PLTR Stock in the last 6 months 😜
Since I'm and active buyer of SPL-Assets, that strategy works well for me, and I hope it's better for the Ecosystem as well. As soon as I'm not in a buying-fever anymore, I'll probably power up 50% of my HBD earnigns. Additionally to the 25% HBD, the HP that I earn stays staked, of course.
Goal for this year: 1k HP until end of June, 2k HP until end of the year - that's +300% from now, let's see how it compares to PLTR at the end of 2025 😆
SPS and DEC
I was able to buy 100€ worth of SPS, and so my stake has risen to 123k - almost at the 125k that is my next milestone.
DEC is a little trickier to track. I have around 4k liquid most of the time. The guild is just starting a new building, and I volunteered to not only 1k GP per season, but additionally 100 DEC for every other 1k DEC that is donated (the whole things is not forced on the members, but I want to motivate them). So far, it's working nicely.
I started an experiment with a Community-Trading pool and a Single-Trading-Plattform, both have 30k DEC starting investment and are already giving beautiful returns.
Land
Another big chunk of DEC is in Land now. I purchased two cheap GF CL cards - Pelacor Bandit for $4,25, and a Lava-Spider for 4,50$. Both require 10k DEC extra staked, so there is that. In total, after doing some swaps and buying a new plot, I now have a little over 40k DEC staked on Land.
I also interchanged some plots and got a Bog, which will produce grain in v1.75 - my first and only one to do so. Since I had to unstake my cards, I took advantage and upgraded a few of those, too, so there went some DEC for purchase and some for staking after the 3 day cooldown period. I usually use Beta-Cards for Land, since they have the best ROI. But the Pelacor Bandit GF was just too good of an opportunity to have another cheap producer. That's why the Bog is needing 15k Energy (double of the jungle) and having only 1k more PP.
As you can see, I get around 7 SPS per day now from that - with the current SPS rate and counting all the investments in cards, cores and plots, plus the staked DEC, that's around a 10% APY. Maybe 9%, I'm not sure if the 7 SPS in the Resource-Part already includes the tax. Still, I'm happy with that as another passive SPS earner, and maybe some benefits for the future.
The other DEC-bought items will be neglected for now.
Other Coins and Tokens
So, since there are many, many tokens on the HIVE-System, I seem to earn quite a few of them without any idea how. My HIVE-Engine-Account has 58 entries, of which most are below 0.001 cent worth. My top 10 (excluding the XBot) are:
I have no idea what to do with PEPE or why it exists, but it looks good to have 100k of it.
THGaming is another one that I recently hit a milestone of 5k - though i don't even know what it is for.
Same goes for Leo, OneUp, Waiv and Neoxag - but it's fun to collect, and who knows, maybe some of you will tell me what I can do with them? Since I just get them as curating/commenting/author rewards, it's free, and I don't really need them, so I stake them and watch them grow.I have reached more than 25k of staked SPT Tokens a few weeks ago - very nice milestone. SBT is a hold, waiting for @itzninjafool to recover and see if this proyect goes on - I like the idea a lot, and had actually bought quite a few SBT Tokens.
The SWAP.BTC came in via airdrop, as a gift for holding that many SBT.
Conclusion
Everything is growing, and I like that. I'm have a bit of a hoarder mentality, I know, but I'm getting used to interchange some assets for others in order to create more progress on all fronts.
I'm really looking forward to the rest of the year, and what it might bring to me. There's still a lot to learn about the HIVE.
