My Runi Chronicles: Rebirth to hit Champion

One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a media challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I will share my plans on how I will keep investing in #Splinterlands on my road to building a top Diamond deck and I will also share a superb battle where my Runi made an astonishing performance. Hope you like it!

Budget Management Update

Here I am back again doing one of my favorite hobbies: writing about this wonderful game. Due to high demand on my job had to take a break (also lost a bit of inspiration), but in my road to champion (this is the 6th time in a row that I reach modern and without bots ^^) another chapter of my Runi Chronicles was mented to be with the most epic battle I've ever made. Wanted directly to share it with all of you! But first I would like to update a little bit my investment plan, which has been affected by some card drops in prices:

Although SPS is reaching its ground value of 0,021$ I am bullish on its future. The day SPS will have to be stacked in the game as a requirements for earnings is getting closer. It also offers more than 20%APR and allows players to vote for new initiatives. The latest passed one, will force the Executive team, to deploy a plan to ban bots. I do believe in the future of the game and my plan is about powering up day by day. Every match that I play in ranked and every quest I finish I earn SPS. My big Milestone is owning 100k SPS. I am on my road to 30k SPS and willing more day by day!

Cards have dropped their price significantly. Maybe some big accounts are leaving the game. And I am ready to buy in. The main problem that I find is that I don't manage enough budget to buy in. My main list has dropped 300$ in 10 days (curiously related to the proposal of banning bots). But I also want to build up a new Immortalis roster, prepared to dominate the pure magic ruleset.

I am not worried about this price drop, because I am here for the long term. But 1k$ in assets would be very difficult to be approved, my wife. I'll keep posting to earn to obtain part of this budget.

I've decided to delay my entry on land. I've received the incredible help of my friend @emakulator that has guided me in some decisions. This community is wonderful and surprises me again and again with how generous it in terms of knowledge and time are with its members. Thanks to Splinterlands I can speak with people all around the world about a game that is passionate about every one of us. I will buy 1 magical common plot and 3 or 4 common plots. All of them are in the same region to avoid transport fees. I don't think I can fill all the plots with enough production points, but there are the Reward cards that I am achieving while playing in Champion. I've opened a couple of legendary foils and I expect more from the future. I want to be ready for the beginning of the Research of the Secrets of Praetoria event, which will be launched by the end of June / July. Together would be about 400$ today.

Runi brings me to the Champion tier

What can I say if my season's most important match is won by my little friend? Nothing, just enjoying it. Runi always surprises their owners. His ability toolkit makes him exceed expectations just because the true strike, he strikes first in reverse speed and if goes last, never misses. I love my Runi, and I love the multiple ways he can take a victory to my team. I faced a 20 mana, Earthquake, Reverse Speed, and Stampede and the board looked as shown in the picture:

• I always bring Windeku into the battlefield, even if the rulesets are not exactly the best for him. In this one, Windeku's slow debuff didn't fix well, but his auto-heal with Earthquake and his thorns and taking into account his 11 health make him a viable tank choice. He is my Iron Sergeant. I set the mission, he does the hard job.
• Weirding Warrior is the perfect Windeku companion. Helps with rust, taking out those annoying armors and amplifying thorns, with 2 ranged damage for just 2 mana.
• Xenith is underrated. When I need to support Windeku's front damage is an excellent option. Appears in more victories of my army than I ever imagined.
• Finally, we find Runi. For this one, I have no words. Just enjoy the performance So happy this NFT will help me in the Arena while boosting my land production, and so happy this one unlocked Champion tier for my last season!
