🧠 Alright, I have to say it — during all this time playing Splinterlands, I’ve met real OG gamers. The kind of people who used to play Magic: The Gathering, build clever strategies, or spend hours on legendary video games. And honestly, I feel connected to them.
For me, one video game that truly made a big impact in my life is Fallout.
The world, the decisions, the stats — especially the famous S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system. It wasn’t just about creating a character. It was about building an identity. And now, I realise that same level of depth exists in Splinterlands too.
This post is a small tribute — a creative idea based on Fallout’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats — to show how deep and exciting our game really is. And yes, I’m super excited for what’s coming next.
🧭 Roles in the Splinterlands Ecosystem
ecosystem#Splinterlands is more than just a card game — it’s a deep where we all play different roles. Whether you’re battling for leaderboard glory, farming lands, trading on the market, or writing epic lore… there’s space for you here in the most fantastic #play2earn world.
And unlike Fallout, where you choose fixed stats, here in Splinterlands you can explore every role. You can be a Summoner one day, an Investor the next, and end the week writing fan fiction as a Lorekeeper 😄
Each role has its own vibe, its own rhythm, and honestly... I love them all. This post is my way of celebrating that — a journey through the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. roles we all live out in the Splinterverse.
🧙♂️ S is for Summoner – The Original Way to Play
If there is one role that truly shows the spirit of Splinterlands, it’s the Summoner.
This is how the game began — in player vs player battles, where two Summoners face each other in the arena. No second chances, no easy wins. Just smart decisions, quick thinking, and three minutes of exciting strategy. ⚔️🔥
The Summoner role is all about fighting. Since the beginning, players have chosen their cards carefully, created strong teams, and tried to beat other Summoners from all over the world. That same feeling is still in the game today.
Now, we have even more ways to battle:
- 🏆 Ranked Battles – Choose Modern or Wild format and climb the leaderboard.
- 🎯 Tournaments – Compete for prizes in big events.
- 🛡️ Guild Brawls – Fight with your guild and show your teamwork.
- 💀 Survival Mode – A new challenge where defeated cards go into cooldown, even if you win.
Being a Summoner is not only about using cards — it’s about being your best self in every match.
If you love action, fast games, and strategy, then this is your role. The Summoner is where it all began — and it’s still one of the most exciting ways to play. 🧠⚔️
I have managed to reach champion 2 in moder this season and fighting for Champion 1 what would be a great milestone!
🌾 P is for Producer – The Land Awakening Begins
The release of Land 1.75 has brought a big change to Splinterlands. Now, for the first time, players can really become Producers, using their land to help build the in-game economy. The introduction of Wood, Stone, and Iron as main resources has made a huge difference. Many players have started placing their max level cards on their plots to get ready for production. They are preparing to craft, collect, and create real value. The Producer role is growing quickly — and this is only the beginning, in the last Town Hall the team announced that there would be upcoming updates of resources with direct impact in the arena - maybe survival potions, potions for black foils? 🛠️🌱
Personally I only own 4 plots focused on providing liquidity in the pools. Here's my Quarry in Lonshire! With the savings of my next content cretion in Hive I do hope getting 5th!
🧭 E is for Explorer – A New Journey Begins
The upcoming Campaign Mode is one of the most exciting things coming to Splinterlands. It will offer a guided, story-based experience made especially for new players. Instead of jumping straight into competitive battles, newcomers will be able to learn all the game mechanics step by step. They’ll build a starter collection, explore the world, and grow their skills — all without needing to worry about rewards or market values.
This is a new path for Explorers, and honestly, it opens the door to something I’ve always dreamed of: a PvE adventure mode where players, or even guilds, can take on missions, unlock lore, and face powerful bosses together. For now, Campaign Mode is coming soon, but I can already imagine a whole new layer of Splinterlands... and I can’t wait to explore it.
🎥 C is for Creator – The Voice of Splinterlands
Creators are the ones who give life and voice to Splinterlands. They explain, inspire, and share the game with the world. But not all creators are the same — there are three powerful types.
First, we have the Media Content Creators — players like Bulldog, Aftersound, Dwayne, Psilence, Jef, Steve, and many others. These people make videos, streams, and guides that bring new players into the game. In fact, I joined thanks to Bulldog’s tutorials almost four years ago… and I’m still here! 🎬🔥
Second, there are the 3rd Party Services, like Peakmonsters and MonsterMarket. These platforms are part of the daily Splinterlands experience. They help with card renting, market decisions, collection management, and more. They don’t just support the game — they improve it. 💼📊
And third, we have the Hive DApps — amazing tools built by the community. One of the best examples is Bangers, who created Beebalanced and a full Splinterlands Battle Stats platform. These tools turn your laptop into a real analytics dashboard for strategy and planning. 🤯📈
All together, these creators are not just making content — they are shaping the game’s future. They turn gameplay into legacy.
💰 I is for Investor – Real Ownership, Real Value
In Splinterlands, every asset you own is truly yours. Cards, tokens, land, licenses — everything can be traded, sold, or held as part of a real in-game economy. This isn’t just a game with rewards — it’s a system where strategy and smart decisions can bring real value.
As an Investor, you don’t need to battle every day. You can build your own plan: hold assets, stake SPS, rent out cards, or collect rewards over time. Personally, I’m really proud of my two licenses. They earn me passive SPS and Vouchers every day — and it feels great to be part of something that grows while I sleep.
The Investor role reminds us that Splinterlands is not only about fun — it’s also about building something long-term. Something we truly own. 📈🔒
🫂 A is for Ambassador – The Power of Community
In Splinterlands, the community is different. It’s not just a feature — it’s a real family. I’ve played other games before, and to be honest, many of them had very toxic communities. But here? It’s the complete opposite.
Every new player is treated like a VIP. Whether you're asking beginner questions, joining your first guild, or posting your first Hive blog, there’s always someone ready to help. We support each other, share tips, celebrate wins, and even laugh at losses together.
Being an Ambassador means more than just answering questions — it means creating a space where everyone feels welcome. In my experience, Splinterlands has one of the most positive and non-toxic environments in the gaming world. And I’m proud to be part of it. 💙🤝
📚 L is for Lorekeeper – Stories That Live Forever
Every Summoner has a story to tell — and thanks to the Hive blockchain, that story can be written, shared, and remembered forever. We don’t just play the game… we become part of its living history.
If someone had told me a few years ago that one day I would enjoy writing about a game even more than playing it, I would have said they were crazy 😄. But here I am — and it’s all because of Splinterlands and Hive. Thanks to this amazing combo, we can track our journey, build a name, and even earn a bit of income while doing what we love.
Being a Lorekeeper is not just about fiction. It’s about turning your daily experience — a cool battle, a clever strategy, a funny loss — into something that lasts. Something others can read, learn from, and feel inspired by. And honestly? That’s kind of magical. ✨
🎯 So… What’s Your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Role?
From Summoner to Lorekeeper, Splinterlands gives us the chance to play, create, support, build, and grow in ways I never imagined when I started. It’s not just a game — it’s a world where we each find our path.
You don’t have to choose just one. I’ve been a bit of everything — battling in tournaments, writing posts, helping new players, and even managing land plots. And the best part? Every single role feels meaningful. It’s all part of a living ecosystem powered by Hive, community, and passion.
So now it’s your turn:
Which roles do YOU enjoy the most?
Let me know in the comments — and let’s keep building this world together. 🌍🔥

I would love to be a producer
Peace
Thank you very much for stepping by my friend! Thank for all the support you are giving me all this time! Peace and Love from Barcelona! #Vonak
Very clever. I love it! I consider myself a Summoner and a Producer. I think I'm leaning more towards Producer nowadays. 😉
Thank you for your support my friend. You don't have to ignore none of the roles! We've got them all in da best game ever! #Vonak
Super creative, nicely done @beffeater.
Hard for me to pick which role I most associate with... I'm into all of them! If I HAD to pick I'd go with Summoner, but I'd really rather be a hybrid of all 7! :)
Grateful for your support! Thanks for stepping by! I aspire to be a mini version of you in every role, lore keeper where all your posts inspire all of us! Lots of love!
Thanks for sharing! - @azircon

Without your leadership in growing HP from Summoners would not be possible. #Vonak
