Splinterlands - Victories reward you, while defeats only build character

in Splinterlands4 days ago

Playing Splinterlands you simply cannot lose - if you win your battle you get hefty Glint and Splintershards rewards, while when losing it only build character and experience. And guess what? If you learn your lesson and strategize better next time, you end up earning more Glint and SPS. The intertwine of fantasy cards battle which provides fun with the financial aspect of earning crypto, is simply the best recipe for our times. Until now the big game producers held all the power, but with play2earn games like Splinterlands the players have their own seats to the table and enjoy the spoils of "war". This is how the new gaming is evolving, not only immersing the players in the gameplay, but also making them financial partners in the future of it. More motivation, more addiction, more loyalty... this is the way going further in my opinion. And who doesn't understand this, I believe that will start losing serious marketplace even if their game is extremely fun.

Splinterlands has a DAO Treasury and all the players that hold and stake Splintershards have their saying on how those funds are used. Proposals are submitted and players are upvoting on them and if they pass they get implemented, otherwise not. So not only is that you are having a saying in how you manage your own assets, but also the ones from the DAO. This is true empowerment and you really can shape the future of this blockchain game one way or the other. And there are a lot more perks for being a Splintershards holders and being active in this game and ecosystem.

Every victory strengthens our deck

Winning battles not only brings Glint and SPS but also helps you refine your best strategies and formations. The more you win, the stronger your deck gets, creating a cycle of continuous improvement. Adapting to game rules with the proper cards is the way to push the chances of wining to the limit. We need to think and adapt from battle to battle, even if we have a preferred formation that we want to throw out in the battle.

Experimenting leads to breakthroughs

I’ve learned that trying out different summoners, card combinations and positioning leads to unexpected victories. Sometimes, a defeat is just a stepping stone to discovering a new strategy. This ultimately makes us better players and increases our victories in the long term. And with that the spoils of war.

Defeats are like real life lessons

Every loss is a free coaching session that shows you what works and what doesn’t in battle. Instead of being discouraged, I analyze my opponent’s lineup, tweak my own, and come back stronger. We sometimes pay attention only to ourselves, but in loses as also in winnings, it is good to keep an eye also on how the opponent is doing and how he put his formation into play.

Resilience is a winning factor

In Splinterlands, persistence pays off, literally. Those who stick around, adapt, and improve not only enjoy the game more but also find themselves earning more rewards over time. It is easy to give up when things get though in battles or when the rewards value like SPS go down in value. But if we stick around, that's when we will make more earnings. And we anticipate a new marketing campaign and a real push for the game, that can pay out ten fold.

At the end of the day, every battle in Splinterlands pushes me forward, whether through rewards or lessons learned. Winning grows my wallet with Glint, SPS and thus also Soulbound Rewards cards, but even when I lose, I walk away with a better understanding of the game. The key is to stay engaged, keep improving my strategy, and never let a defeat discourage me. As long as I keep playing, learning, and growing, every win or lose gets me one step closer to my goals.
