The "old" Battle Challenges are now a thing of the past (at least for now?) and they have been replaced with the "Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: The New Ambassador Program".
For any old Hivers/Splinterland players who've just come back and are confused, fret not! Even with the name and format tweaks, right at it's core, battles are still the foundation of these posts.
In this week's edition of my The New Ambassador Program, I will do something drastically different from my usual battle showcases. Instead of war, I will become a peaceful teacher showing all new players how to most effectively navigate the topic of "The New Ambassador Program". It might be really confusing for new players, or even those who've been away for awhile, to make sense of the new ambassador program which is kind of a twist on the old referral program. However, with some help, I hope to show all you players that these are just 2 sides of the same coin and there's nothing to fear or be confused about all these new systems! ๐
No matter! I present to you โ The New Ambassador Program.
So without further ado, let me introduce how best to navigate this seemingly impossible task to you! ๐
Splinterlands has recently launched the Ambassador Program, a revamped initiative designed to reward players for introducing new members to the game. This program offers structured benefits and clear pathways for engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for community members to contribute to the game's growth while earning rewards.

With all that being said, here is how I would advice ALL players on how you can capitalize on some of these simple strategies!
Launch Date: December 10, 2024.
Purpose: To incentivize players to recruit new users into Splinterlands by offering rewards for successful referrals.
Structure: The program operates on two tiersโSilver and Goldโeach with specific requirements and benefits.
Benefits and Opportunities for Ambassadors
Silver Tier:
Requirements: Refer at least one friend.
Benefits:
Both you and your friend receive 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook.
Earn 5% of your friendsโ end-of-season Glint rewards, up to 100% of your own end-of-season Glint rewards.
Gold Tier:
Requirements:
Have at least 10 referrals, each with a minimum of $100 in purchases (including primary, secondary, or rental markets).
Own a Spellbook.
Benefits:
All Silver Tier benefits.
Earn a 5% bonus (paid in DEC) on packs your friends purchase from the in-game shop.
Receive 1% of your friendsโ transactions on peer-to-peer markets (minimum payout of 0.001 DEC per transaction).
Steps to Participate in the Program
Log In: Access your Splinterlands account.
Access Your Referral Link:
Click on your username in the top-right corner.
Select "Ambassador Status."
Copy your unique referral link.
Share Your Link: Encourage friends to sign up using your referral link. Ensure they create their accounts immediately after clicking the link to properly register the referral.
Track Referrals and Earnings:
Use the "Ambassador Status" page to monitor your referrals and payments.
Check the Payments tab for detailed earnings information.
Tips for Success as a Splinterlands Ambassador
Understand Your Audience: Tailor your approach to the interests and preferences of potential new players.
Be Honest and Transparent: Clearly explain the referral process and the rewards new players can expect.
Promote Across Multiple Channels: Utilize social media platforms, gaming forums, and in-person interactions to reach a broader audience.
Highlight Key Selling Points: Emphasize aspects like engaging gameplay, the competitive community, and the play-to-earn model.
Encourage Guild Participation: Advise new players to join active guilds, as this enhances player retention and engagement.
