This is the optimal time to accumulate assets in Splinterlands
While the general crypto market and bitcoin have stopped free-falling, Splinterlands card prices have continued downward more so than the rest of the crypto market. This could indicate that Splinterlands assets are currently undervalued because of both fear in the general crypto market and fear around the current bot situation.
Another reason I'm bullish on the Splinterlands project other than assets being undervalued is that while the Splinterlands governance token (SPS) lost 90% of its value going from $1 to $0.10, the Splinterlands team grew from around ten employees to almost 100 employees. Also partnering with Warner Music Group and looking for new effective ways to advertise their game while still focusing most of their resources on improving the in-game experience.
With everything the Splinterlands team has planned for this year, eventually one of these updates (ranked rewards, wild & modern, SPS validators, riftwatchers, land, or rebellion) will be the catalyst that turns the Splinterlands prices around. If you are not dollar-cost averaging into the game before these updates come out you will miss the opportunity to buy at the bottom forever.
Even though the crypto market and Splinterlands prices look concerning now, if you look back through the history of crypto people who made the most money were buying at the bottom. No one can time the bottom perfectly, therefore you should be dollar-cost-averaging into assets while the prices are low so you can reap the rewards when everything turns around.
