Introduction
Hey all, hope all of you had a great celebration of the new year and now the first brawl of 2025 has completed. And with its completion, let me bring to you, my brawl report for PIZZA 420 The Calzones. The lineup I put up in each match, how each of the match ended and also how did the guild do for this particular brawl. Compared to previous low match count, there is a much higher number of matches.
Let's get right on into the various matches.
Brawl Matches
Recently I have been cycling between both wild and modern fray. Haven't found what truly works for me so I will continue tinkering and see how each one works out. So let's dive in to the matches I had and do some reflections on how I can do better for next brawl.
Match 1:

Comment: Llama and Quora faced, with such a combination, there is no way I will be able to overcome with whatever collection I have at the moment. A total overwhelming defeat.
Match 2:

Comment: A match that I can only use even mana cards which I do not have a lot. And when I saw that opponent used a Mylor, I knew my heavy melee lineup will not survive. While my Katrelba able to kill, the thorns damage return was too tough for me to sustain even when able to push through a few kills and getting blood lust activated. 2nd loss for this brawl.

Comment: When I thought I was able overcome my opponent with my lineup when I see opponent fielding a slightly smaller line up. While I manage to clear off the backline, Mycelic Infantry with its shield and hard armour sustained through and my lineup just self destructed. Another loss clocked.

Comment: Low mana with melee mayhem. I tried to use Oshannus to avoid all kind of contact and a marksrat to get the martyr but somehow it is not enough and I ended up being out healed by Quora and losing the match.

Comment: How many more Mylor am I going to see this brawl. Thankfully this is one of the matches that Quora is not banished and I am able to use her. And because of her presence, there is a tide turn for this match and I finally clinch a win.
Match 6:

Comment: Weapon training that my opponent had is gonna make it tough for me and also due to the summoner opponent's Coastal Sentry is able to strike as well. Too much for me to handle with all the abilities and healing. Another loss clocked.
Match 7:

Comment: A glimmer of hope when I am able to use Quora. Her healing and overpowering is something that can overturn matches. After boosted by Marksrat, she just continue bulldozing everyone.
Brawl Results
I am assigned only 7 matches for this brawl of which I win 2 matches out of 7 with 2 additional free win from missing frays from other guild not filling up. One Mylor can disable me so badly and so many banish applied on Quora which is really frustrating. I will need to see if able to find an alternative solution for no Quora matches.
With only 3 people participating, we came in last for this brawl once again. Will need some improvement on our guild win rate. It's tough when we have low participation and low win rate. I do hope we will have more people participating and also improve my collection to be able to be more flexible for matches.
Closing
Consecutive last position for 3 brawls, looks like we really need to dig deep and find opportunities to improve and get better.. Let's fight strong and fight hard, learn from mistakes, grow the collection to have enough to combat our opponents. Wishing all once again a fruitful new year as we continue to grow from where we are.
