Hi!
I started playing Splinterlands during the Untamed era and have grown quite fond of some of these cards. So, I thought it would be nice to share a few of my favorite ones with you guys. Let's start this with a big one!
Did you know that a level 1 War Chaang can actually attack 3 times in a round? Yes, with Melee Mayhem ruleset. When Chaang is positioned somewhere behind the first monster it attacks twice since it has both ranged and melee attacks. War Chaang also has 8 health points so it can take a couple of hits and retaliate, landing its third attack in a single round.
Things get even better and crazier if you upgrade this monster to level 4 which will unlock its trample ability. With Stampede ruleset this could mean total mayhem. Well, maybe someday I can see that. Until then I'm going to focus on level 1 War Chaang which can be an absolute killing machine with Melee Mayhem ruleset!
War Chaang is an epic Neutral Untamed monster that has 2 melee attacks, 1 ranged attack, 3 speed and 8 health points. This very interesting monster could be used as a tank but I prefer it in the back. If everything else fails, it'll still be pretty nasty in front when the time comes.

War Chaangs Retaliate ability makes it perfect for luring out monsters with Sneak ability since they will attack the last monsters instead of the first. Now those sneaky little monsters will be in trouble if the retaliate is activated.
The Battle
Let's take a look at War Chaang in action. This example is a 50 mana battle with all splinters usable and with one ruleset:

Opponent Team
My opponent chose Life splinter with General Sloan as a summoner. General has half ranged and half melee monsters. Ranged ones will have a +1 summoner buff while melee monsters will suffer a decrease because of my demoralizing monsters.
- 1st Chaos Knight
- 2nd Disintegrator
- 3rd Shieldbearer
- 4th Mantoid
- 5th Pelacor Arbalest
- 6th Supply Runner
Three first monsters won't be able to do damage at first since Living Lava has a shield and they have only 1 melee attack. Buffed range monsters will form a much bigger threat, especially Pelacor Arbalest who can attack twice per round.

Final Thoughts
Pelacor Arbalest was as bad as I expected. He could do some significant damage because I didn't have anyone to take him out. Could have been easily done with a monster with Opportunity ability.
War Chaang did attack twice per round but since my opponent didn't have anyone with Sneak, So unfortunately we didn't see that third attack and complete domination by the Chaang.
Versatile War Chaang has many use cases: Tank, backline monster, a specialist with a ruleset like this, and of course, being a neutral monster, it can be used with many different combinations and face many sorts of enemy lineups.
Right now War Chaang is trading at $10.48 while in comparison Tortisian Chief, another neutral epic monster is at $14.99...
That's all for this time, thank you for reading!
