I built this website almost 2 years ago, but didn't keep it up to date for the last year or so, and so it was missing a lot of cards. I decided it was time to brush off the rust and get it updated. While there are still tons of things on my backlog, I'm happy to say it now has all the latest cards and I also fixed some other lingering UX issues.
Let me recap some of the key features of SplinterGuide.
Automated Card Ratings
The most notable feature is the automated card ratings which are calculated for EVERY card, at each league level (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond).
The automated ratings use an algorithm I wrote which takes into account lots of different things, including stats, attack types, abilities, ability synergies, stat/ability synergies, and meta adjustments. By no means is the scoring bullet-proof. Firstly, there are many things I don't yet take into account and which are in my to-do list. Secondly, the evolving meta makes it very difficult to rate every card, and the ratings may change with every change (card, ruleset, ability) that's brought into the game. Finally, there's subjectivity, and not everyone will agree on every rating. These are evolving of course, and I'd love feedback on any ratings you guys strongly disagree with.
One of the cool things about having ratings for each league is the ability to see the POWER CURVE in action. Take for example Night Stalker:
It's a good card at Bronze due simply to its stats, but when it gets Execute it becomes a very good card, and when it gets Blast on top of Execute it becomes top tier.
Search & Sort
While there are various websites to browser Splinterlands cards (including PeakMonsters, my personal favorite), SplinterGuide offer a few more features for your browsing experience.
(1) Sort with stats, which lets you quickly find cards of various stat levels or, for example, see which six cards in the game have melee damage of >7:
Of course, sorting by rating is the feature that'll stand out most, as this data's only available on SplinterGuide.
(2) Blazing-fast search on ANY term (in the table's search field). Search for name, ability, splinter, rarity...
Synergy/Counter Recommendations and Ruleset Analysis
Card synergies and counters are available for some (not all) cards and provide suggestions on cards that fit very well with a certain card or work to counter the card.
Meanwhile Ruleset Analysis uses another algorithm that looks at the card's various stats and abilities to recommend which rulesets are a match and which aren't.
Market Insights
The Market Insights page (https://splinterguide.com/list/market) is another cool feature which frankly I built for myself, because I wanted a snapshot view of some data that required a few too many clicks to find in Peakmonsters, or that I simply couldn't find.
My favorite one is the GF:RF value which estimates the ratio of the cost to max in GF vs maxing in RF. It's based on the lowest available price, so it's not always going to be 100% accurate, but it can help you quickly find GF deals. Hint: look for cards close to "1" on this ratio.
As I said at the beginning, there are still plenty of things I need to do to get this in an even better shape, but I think it's usable right now. Whether you're looking for a quick sense of a card's rating, power curve, or some market insights, SplinterGuide can hopefully help you out.

This page was the turning point that made me go all-in on Mantaroth, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision! It has given me an incredible year in Modern and a great amount of SPS.
I’ve been thinking about the creature’s details, and it would be really interesting to feature some battles to showcase its strengths. Maybe organizing them by level or other key factors? That could give a clearer picture of its real impact.

Was on the sure a couple of days ago wishing it had been updated, will revisit and have a look what’s new, the reason I had visited last week was to look at RF:GF ratio - would be great if that could be done by card level too (I was looking to get some silver level cards for tournaments) !BBH

Yeah the GF:RF ratio's actually one of my favorite features. It's one of the things I wanted to build before I started on this whole thing in the first place, haha... Agree it would be cool to see it at the card level, but that's a bit hard. In any case I'll have it on the backlog.
Yeah, I thought it may be difficult, I also like the missing bcx calculator on @tehox splintercards but again, wish it would show if you had a gf and/or rf at a certain level - I don’t want to buy a rf if I already have it at gf, I can flip between but I’m just lazy 😂
