RE: Waka Flocka Launch Details!

in Splinterlands3 years ago

thought you introduce wild and modern because the increase in players was too great and most people no longer have access to alpha cards, etc. and now you introduce a card for modern, which is even less available? then you can just leave the wild and modern split!

Sort:

So how often do you think you will play against players using Waka Flocka for that to matter?

what kind of argument is this? with this argument the whole division into modern and wild would be superfluous!
this card will probably own the same people as now the diamond, champion players who farm the bronze, silver players, first you act as if you want to ensure fairness and in the end you give them again such an advantage in the hand oO

first of all, what kind of relationship should this have? first comes chaos legion, where a massive amount of cards are printed. and then you release a card that is rarer than alpha cards?

I think that the card sale works better than planned for the Splinterland Devs. When you see for every 1 milion card packs sold, you get the possibility to get an Airdrop. Now actual we are at Airdrop card 7. So over 7 milion card packs are sold. That are 35 milion cards in game since CL release. Now a another Card are possible the bought, increases my flexibility. I hope all of you have luck and get a gold foil. So i agree with the new card sale. My personal opinion. cu on the Battlechain. :-)

of the chaos packs are not even 25% open, that should not be forgotten. but that's not what i'm about. for me, it all makes no sense, first you say we have to print more, we have to split the league in wild and modern, and then you suddenly do the total opposite, you knock out a card that is printed less often than the edition before chaos. i think they were just thinking about a quick cash crop. it doesn't fit with the attitude of we need to print more, we need to split the league, do we want to move more in the esport direction......

ok, now i understand what you exactly mean and i am with you.

The release of modern and wild format has less to do with the number of players and more to do with maintaining balanced meta as each new expansion brings new cards, abilities and combinations, which often causes a balancing issue even with rule sets mechanics. Also modern and wild formats has been around in other TCG for years for that reason if you ever played Magic the Gathering or Hearthstone you would be familiar with the formatting.

Also Splinterlands have released promo cards in the past not necessarily in this manner, which were also limited and difficult to obtain, and they did not break the game.
