Welcome back to my Community Engagement Challenge where we will continue talking about the dynamics of card rentals and when I say "continue" I mean that this post has coincidentally become a continuation of my post from last week where I make a tutorial for beginners on how to rent within Splinterlands and associated portals such as Peakmonsters, I leave you the link to that first post in the image below.

Bienvenidos nuevamente a mi Community Engagement Challenge donde continuaremos hablando sobre la dinámica de los alquileres de cartas y cuando digo "continuamos" me refiero a que este post se ha convertido casualmente en una continuación de mi post de la semana pasada donde hago un tutorial para iniciados sobre como realizar los alquileres dentro de Splinterlands y portales asociados como Peakmonsters, te dejo el enlace a ese primer post en la imagen de abajo.
Optimizing rental time with custom sets/Optimizando el tiempo de alquiler con los custom set
One of the elements I highlighted in my previous post was the amount of time the rental process took in the game and since Splinterlands had put in place a Set rental system to optimize time, the problem is that these first sets were limited to the modern format editions. Now with the Custom option we have a space where the same players rent sets of cards that allow new players to rent a set of starter cards with just one click.
Una de los elementos que remarcaba en mi post anterior era la cantidad de tiempo que tomaba el proceso de alquileres en el juego y como Splinterlands nos había colocado un sistema de Set rentals para optimizar los tiempos, el problema es que estos primeros sets se limitaban a las ediciones del formato moderno. Ahora con la opción Custom tenemos un espacio donde los mismos jugadores ponen en alquiler conjuntos de cartas que le permiten a los nuevos jugadores alquilar un set de cartas iniciales con tan solo un click.
So, when entering custom we will see lists of cards that have a description of which cards the offeror put up for rent, in the image on the left we see a set of Chaos Legion Core cards and also soulbound rewards. While on the right we see a list of only Chaos Legion/Reward summoning cards, it is important to note that for these rentals you can cancel in Dec/credits for a period of 20 days.
Entonces, al entrar en custom veremos listados de cartas que tienen una descripción de cuales son las cartas que el oferente colocó para su alquiler, en la imagen de la izquierda vemos un set de cartas Chaos Legion Core y también rewards soulbound. Mientras que en la derecha vemos un listado solo de cartas invocadoras Chaos Legion/Reward, es importante destacar que para estos alquileres se puede cancelar en Dec/créditos por un periodo de 20 días.

Now, we talked about the process of renting cards that we will use in ranking, tournaments or brawls, but what happens when we want to rent? In my previous post I showed this process and it also takes a lot of time but it is undoubtedly a way to obtain passive income in sets of cards that we do not use either because we use a gold foil version, we have several copies of a card or we play mainly in modern format and we want our wild cards to generate passive income for us. For this, there is the creation of sets that we can put up for rent. Let's see how it works.
Ahora bien, hablamos del proceso de alquilar cartas que usaremos en ranking, torneos o brawls, pero ¿Qué sucede cuando queremos alquilar? en mi post anterior mostré este proceso e igualmente se lleva mucho tiempo pero indudablemente es una manera de obtener ingresos pasivos en conjuntos de cartas que no usamos ya sea porque usamos una versión gold foil, tenemos varias copias de una carta o jugamos principalmente en formato moderno y queremos que nuestras cartas wild nos generen pasivamente. Para ello existe la creación de sets que podemos poner en alquiler. Veamos como funciona.
So, what happens is that all our cards in possession are listed to put together a set that we decide to put up for rent, this option would have helped me a lot a year ago when I bought the Agor Longtail and Oshuur Constantia cards, I hardly used these cards at that time because I was playing the wild format intensely and I didn't need them to reach Champion. But putting them up for rent along with others took me a lot of time considering that their prices varied for each one of them. Here I show you how I select them.
Entonces, lo que sucede es que se listan todas nuestras cartas en posesión para armar un set que decidamos poner en alquiler, esta opción me habría ayudado mucho hace 1 año cuando compre las cartas Agor Longtail y Oshuur Constantia estas cartas casi no las usé en ese tiempo porque estaba jugando de forma intensa el formato wild y no me hacían falta para llegar a Champion. Pero colocarlas en alquiler junto con otras más me tomaba mucho tiempo considerando además que sus precios variaban en cada una de ellas. Aquí te muestro como las selecciono.
Once you have selected the cards, you proceed to click on create a set, which will open a confirmation tab where you can also name the set as a description of the set that you would eventually put up for rent. In my case, Agor, Oshuur and Lilly were the cards that generated the most income for me, so we will name them Dragon Set.
Una vez seleccionada las cartas, procedes a dar click a crear set abriéndose una pestaña de confirmación donde además te permite nombrar el set a manera de descripción del set que eventualmente pondrías en alquiler. En mi caso Agor, Oshuur y Lilly fueron las cartas que más ingresos me generaron así que las nombraremos Dragon Set.
And well, friends, with this we conclude this mini series about the entire rental system for both beginners and experts in the game.
