Bots have now taken over the card market and have been programmed to auto buy cards when they reach a certain price. This should NOT be allowed to happen. These self learning AI bots that flaunt their advantages are now competing in tournaments and are filling all the top spots. As the algorithm has been further changed over the past week to match more players who are similar in rank, many players are now earning half the DEC they were only a week ago. Considering how it costs around 3k for a competitive silver lague team, this is going to further incentivize the use of bots and eventually once everyone figures out how to do it there will be no incentive at all to being an actual player. The creator Agro talks about the importane of free markets, but in the same sentence he states that bots are allowed. For anyone who's unaware, in the late 70s/early 80s Bots became allowed to trade in the stock market and since then we have not had true free markets. These bots are often in charge of millions of dollars and are designed to create a downward or upward trend based on algorithms that scan news headlines. In short, we DO NOT have free markets in the U.S the way we think we do. Bots have now made it so you will NEVER find a truly undervalued card in the marketplace ever again. What do you think about that? Is it fair? And what does fair even mean in a decentralized game? Personally I think it would be best for everyone to nip this issue in the bud. So I am putting an idea out there for everyone, Hoard as much SPS as possible so that we can use them to vote these bots the hell out of Spinterlands! Just an idea. Please share your thoughts!
You May NEVER Find A Truly Undervalued Card In The Marketplace Again. Thanks To Bots!

Yeah bots are also seen more frequwntly now in silver ranked, and Im personally desappointed with His answer about the issue, Im just not going to invest as much as I wanted and keep it low in case I rage quit
Every AMA so far someone has brought up the issue of bots and every time he says the same thing. "It's a decentralized game so we shouldnt be stopping anyone from creating bots." Anyone who plays alien worlds knows what bots can do to a palyto earn game. That's why theeir tlm token went from 70 cents to 7 cents in like 2 months because so many people "rage quit" like you said lol

We have run a bid system for cards for a long long time now. I think a lot of what you're seeing is users just using the open public Bid system more. Not sure how many actual card buying bots are out there but i'm not seeing many failed bids where the bidder is being beaten by a bot. Maybe it's happening but not sure how to see when fair market bids are not winning.
