Hi Splinterlands Folks,
This is my contribution to the share your weekly Battle. Our theme is Goblin Psychic. It's a very strong earth deck rare nowadays, it's a must!
Let's check out the Lore in Splinterlands.
The Magi Tower is where Goblins go to learn how to use psychic abilities. It isn't just a gift Goblins can learn, but due to the proximity of Gobson, Goblins tend to show up more frequently. The Magi who calls the tower home, enjoys teaching the art of using one's mind to move objects and read thoughts. Goblin Psychics use their abilities to perform work in Gobson or become adventurers and practice to become a full fledged Summoner.
Shami concentrated his mind on moving the paintbrush. It sat on an easel in front of a large canvas, paints of various colors lay before it. The paintbrush sat still.
“You need to focus. Just breath. Relax. Picture the brush as if it were in your hand. Then imagine yourself painting the canvas.”
The Magi's voice flooded Shami's mind, though he was used to the noise. Growing up in Gobson, the noise of cogs and gears was constant in the laboratories and buildings within the city. He imagined himself lifting the brush with his left hand, raising it to the canvas, and painting the picture he had studied for hours. The Magi's Forest.
He thought of a great forest of vivid greens and plants. Deer and rabbits running throughout the bushes. A massive stone tower rising into the clouds. He saw it clearly in his mind's eye and he drew it.
The brush lifted as if held by a master artist and danced across the canvas.
“Open your eyes.” The voice of the Magi came again.
Shami blinked his eyes open and after the blur faded, he stared at his creation. On the canvas was a stone tower rising for miles out of a great green ocean of trees. The Magi revealed a similar canvas and held them together. A plaque beneath the painting read, The Magi's Forest. Both were nearly identical.
Battle Time!
Let's jump into it. I can't wait to see how Goblin Psychic kicks some ass out there!
It's a 27 mana cap blast game with water, fire and life decks prohibited. So I remember this tip:
~~~ embed:1496542430027743233?s=20&t=hXEomEXNSOJD7LvdFXJlrQ twitter metadata:TkZUeUFyY2FkZXx8aHR0cHM6Ly90d2l0dGVyLmNvbS9ORlR5QXJjYWRlL3N0YXR1cy8xNDk2NTQyNDMwMDI3NzQzMjMzfA== ~~~
And that is the best place to use it now. The only thing is my rival possibly using it too. How to alter it?
Ok, I wanted a magic mirror behind unicorn, in order to reflect the blast damage: 1-2 times but it will be sufficient!
That was a very long round 1 but if you watched it you should see what I mean before, I got some side damage because of my Failed Summoner.
As you can see the advantage keeps getting bigger and the match nearly ended now!
And a fast round 3! I won the battle perfectly!
So why this setting, let's dive into it:
Obsidian
New earth queen magician, like they replaced old white magician (Alric) with new young women afro-american magician :)
Unicorn Mustang
I think right now there is no alternative to Unicorn in Obsid decks when it's a magic battle!
Failed Summoner
By putting it backside of unicorn I added some side damage because of the blast!
Regal Peryton
Nice flying earth magician. Strong too!
Goblin Psychic
One of the backbones of this strategy, so useful!
Khmer Princess
because there is not much sneak earth out there (there is a goblin though) Khmer is ok in the back.
My second place reflector application worked so good. But I should have put Regal in the back always, I sometimes forget it.
See you later everyone!
I play this card often, but with Mylor Crowling as the summoner and Unicorn Mustang as my lead tank. It's a good combination for many wins.
that combo is OP 👍
