Series introduction
This post is part of the Road to gold league series, all parts can be found here:
Road to gold league - Collection
In this series you can follow me on my journey to Gold league III in Splinterlands. I started with about 5,000 CP and have just played the game for about two month. My plan is to invest in some cards to reach 15,000 CP for Silver III league and rent the rest of these cards.
Where are we
I bought some new cards that added another 650 CP and earned 538rating. As you see I already archieved tzhe rating for Gold III league. I never thought this would be possible to achieve so quick. Nevertheless right now I am playing in Silver I league and will start to rent some more CP to finally play in GOLD III. The blog series will of course continue as I hope it's still interesting for you if I play in Gold league and its still possible that I'll fall back to Silver ranking.

My neutral cards
Today I will show you the neutral cards that I bought and that I think have a good price / power ratio right now and fit in most decks.
My actual deck
Goblin Mech
Goblin Mech is a great tank for all high mana battles where you don't need a specialized tank like The Forgotten one with poison immunity or magic counter tanks. I only use him at level 1 and love to use him in Tarsa decks, especially where melee monsters can attack from everywhere.
Creeping Ooze
Creeping Ooze can be squeezed in in many battles as he only costs 1 mana. I use him at level 1 for the Slow ability. In many battles he saves the win because of this Slow.
Uraeus
I love to use Uraeus in last place in my Tarsa deck. Because of it's armor he can take one more hit and doing Sneak damage always helps. At level 3 he has 3 life and 3 speed, which really helps.
Chaos Agent
I use Chaos Agent in my Tarsa deck to cover Serpentine Spy. I only use him at level 2 so he catch the first Opportunity attack when placed before Serpentine Spy. With Dodge it happens that the first attack misses, that's the time this card really shine!
Scavo Hireling
I got a level 3 Scavo Hireling in gold from opening Chaos Legion packages and he can be quite usefull combined with the Goblin Mech.
Sand Worm
Last but not least here comes the Sand Worm. A card no one should miss as he comes quite handy in those high mana (reverse speed) battles. Combined with Tarsa and 6 Sneak attack he is a real monster and 1 shot most of the enemy back line!
Possible additions in the future
Sand Worm lvl 5
I would love to update the Sandworm to level 5 for one more life, speed and attack! He is a little bit pricey but sure a great investment!
Furious Chicken
All 0 mana cards are a great addition, even more a neutral one. With more than $30 the chicken must win a lot of battles to compensate for this price tag. But its always great to have one more unit than the enemy.
Almo Cambio
A neutral card with immunity and 12 life would be really great for all poison battle. With him it's possible to play any summoner with Poision.
Doctor Blight
I thought about this one quite a bit, because he already reached near to $100. Is he still worth it? A level 2 one with posoin would be really cool but that would be even more expensive. So this is a card for anyone to whom money really doesn't matter.
Thats it for my neutral cards. Next time in this series I will show you some battles from Silver I and maybe even Gold III league. Let's see how I am doing there.
I hope you like the series and think about following me, I would be happy to see you again in the next episode!
