I have accepted my fate...
I suck at Splinterlands!
That is a 7 game losing streak I just had. I was seriously getting to the point where I threw in the towel and said F it and quit playing Splinterlands. If you know me you know I have been stuck in Bronze 1 for what seems like forever and and after battling today I made it all the way too.... Bronze 3. And it wasn't for a lack of trying.
Half way through I even decided to play from Training games to see if I could figure out what the computer opponent would do against me and then do that. That didn't help.
(This post was written and added to over the course of a week as I kept buying more and more cards so excuse the references to 'previous 24 hours' etc. I kept them in for clarity sake)
I am not one to just throw in the towel without trying and trying so I decided I needed a new course of action because my current plan isn't working. Since Chaos Legion cards are so cheap and since I am so broke I figured that is where I will start.
I swapped all my Vouchers for DEC via the ingame swapping.
I even sold my SPT for DEC and sold some of my Swap.Hive for DEC. And with a decent chuck of DEC I figured I would go buy cards that fit into these guidelines.
- Chaos Legion Core set
- Either I didn't have the card already OR it was enough of the cards to level it up to level 3.
So with that let's take a look at everything I bought in the last 48 hours.
If you are keeping track that is 6,052.509 DEC spent so far. But I wanted MORE!
Bought 3 Life Sapper for 141.53 DEC.
Bought 3 Venari Bonesmith for 83.87 DEC.
I stopped being an idiot and went back to MonsterMarket and bought 3 Radiated Brute for 62.901 DEC
So that is all in 6,340.81 DEC spent on 24 cards.
I recently bought some cards on the WAX blockchain too and they finally arrived in my wallet. I am not counting them because I am too lazy to do the WAX to HIVE conversion and then HIVE to DEC conversion. But here are those cards I bought too.
While this article was sitting here in draft mode I realized that a friend of mine delegated a few cards to me. So I started to return them and buy replacements of the ones I actually played with.
So I spent another 2,319.01 DEC on 6 more cards

All together I spent 8,659.82 DEC on 30 cards. I also spent probably 20 WAX on 15 cards.
With these 45 cards I am hoping I can end this season better than I started it.

Also as a side note, as it was previously suggested to me. I am only going to buy Splinterlands single cards from MonsterMarket because it can be slightly cheaper then other sites but also because of the DEC kickback you get when you purchase!

yeah actually lol I just got into Bronze 1 right now where before I was stuck in 3or 2 all season. But it may just be that I finally am playing smart now? idk lol
