Learning more about Splinterlands... always keep learning! :)

Hello and Aloha to all you wonderful hivers,

Here's a beautiful map from one hiver or steemian, back in the OG days of splinterlands.

After scrolling all the way back (took sooooooooooo very long.. like 10 songs..) I finally found some good stuff that started back in the steemit days.

This player guide gives some strategy tips, so even if it's a bit outdated now, the tips will surely only be of benefit for any player to know..

I kinda knew all of the basic strat.. like put tanks/melee monsters up front with range attackers and magic users behind em, but it goes into more detail and offers a few new tips I never though of. My favorite one is the tip where you might want to consider throwing a high health meat sheild IN FRONT of your actual tank.. to take those early hits and it might make or break a winning strat.

or there's a section on abilities and how they are so very important..

Also take note that...

Abilities matter. Every extra stat point is potentially a game changer so consider them carefully.

also, I never gave much thought into the speed of cards and how it can really win a battle before the enemies can even act!

and here's the best advice from the article..

uhhhhhhh, ok, yea! 😉😁✌️ it's all good. I feel like I now know about 0.1% of what I should know about this awesome game called splinterlands.

and, of course, the last word is..

thanks!

Nice to see you diving into Splinterlands. There is a Lot to learn and remember. Maybe too much. Glad I made a simpler version. :D

Very important and very true! I think you kind of knew this, but maybe forgot, because to quote you from our Shoutbox about a year when you described how you won the hardest battle in the game, you said, "Speed Kills!" :)

yeah.. i think bruce lee asl said something about speed being superior to strength or some other things. 👊😎🤙
