A lot of players have been saying that, from what they’ve seen, Splinterlands assets seem to be steadily going up in value. But from the daily $SPS staking stats I’ve been tracking, the price actually looks like it’s going down. Maybe the card prices have increased because of some of the recent major updates, but $HIVE has been dropping like crazy lately. So honestly, I’m not even sure if the value of what I own is going up or down. But hey—as long as I’m having fun, that’s what really matters.
It feels more practical to just open some Gladius Cases instead. My Gladiator cards aren’t just level 1 or 2 anymore, so leveling them up takes a lot more copies of the same cards. That means I’ve got to wait, but I think it’s worth it in the long run.
A lot of Common or Rare cards actually become super useful once they reach higher levels. The catch is, you need higher-level summoners to unlock their extra abilities.
